From punkbands.com: "Bad Religion has knocked out 12 songs for its upcoming 12th studio album - including "Evangeline," "Kyoto Now!," "Bored and Extremely Dangerous," "The Defense," "Destined for Nothing," and "Sorrow." The band, which has now been reunited with founding guitarist Brett Gurewitz after a six-year separation (allstar, May 10), is hoping to nail down 16 or so tunes for the as-yet-untitled effort, due in October. "There is definitely an effort to recapture the magic from our records like Against the Grain and those types of things where there is really exciting, simple, anthemic stuff," says Gurewitz of the album-to-be. "But we are more mature and sophisticated as songwriters than we were then, so that's gonna be reflected in it." (allstar.com) (Thanks to Liam Craven.)
