Greg is going to be speaking and playing tonight at Cornell. Sorry for posting this so late but I only found out one minute ago.
Yesterday an Argentinian radio station broadcasted a half-hour interview with Greg (the full transcript will be available on the Interviews section soon, courtesy of Christian Rodríguez) where he was asked about going back to a small record label and answered "It's possible" and explained that they are thinking about what label to go to with the next album, which is "early in its writing, but I've been writing a lot with Brett, my former partner". Then he was asked about Brett re-joining the band and the answer was, literally "We're trying to keep it quiet but I'll leak here in your show that yes, it looks like he'll be joining the band". I've been trying to keep it quiet too but since Greg has already said it on the radio, let me (Roger) say that I heard a while ago that Brett was re-joining AND Brian is staying SO Bad Religion will have three guitar players! Personally, I think this is the best piece of news in BR history, not because the band will have three guitarists but because Brett is such an amazing songwriter. It is partly a healthy Lennon/McCartney-like competition that used to drive Brett's and Greg's creative geniuses in the early days. The standard of the songwriting can only improve with Brett back on board.
I just found out that the ATL Hall website says the Rio de Janeiro show will be on the 16th and not the 17th. If you're going and you a have a ticket and you know for sure what the date for the show is, please email me.
