Quote of the day: "In the turbulent conscious stream, the unbearable lightness of being, and it's finite. From the universal mass constant matters coming to pass, but it's finite." - Finite
Remember "A plunder of the third world -Any wretched ploy that bolsters our economy"? I know the song is not about Ticketmaster, but it's the first thing that came to mind when I found out today that they are charging between $25 and $50 to see BR in Argentina. According to my Argentinian friend Christian, who knows the venue (a big stadium), if you pay $25 you are put in a place where you can't see shit, if you pay $35 you are near the stage but it's totally crowded and only if you pay $50 you can see the concert properly. This is a fortune to most Argentinians. And actually, if you buy the tickets in the city and not in the stadium (which is 50 min. away from the city, by car, and an hour and a half by bus) it's 28, 38 and 53 dollars. And if you have the ticket sent home it's 32, 42 and 57. Does someone not hate Ticketmaster yet? I hope BR find out about this and at least make up for it by playing for like 4 hours. The Argentinians deserve it. (Also because BR haven't played there in 8 years. Two years ago the tickets went on sale but the shows were cancelled.) Oh, by the way, their excuse for charging like 30 dollars more than would be reasonable is that Biohazard is opening, but seriously, how many BR fans in Argentina would pay even $5 to see Biohazard? And viceversa.
