Epitaph has made "Suffer" available for download from a special Bad Religion page on www.vans.com. The "30 Years Live" record will be released on Tuesday May 18th. However, you'll have to sign up on badreligion.com in order to receive the download link. Check out more details about the upcoming live record here.
http://www.vans.com/badreligion/
According to the trailer on that site the live album will contain 17 songs, including "2 unreleased songs from the upcoming studio album". So this is definitely a confirmation that "Won't Somebody" will make the new record. Discuss this in our forum.
Also check out the bit from 2004 in which Jay talks about the Bad Religion shoes that Vans did (click on the "From the Vans Archives" link in the bottom right corner.

Can't agree with you there, noparadigm. I think Suffer.mp3 sounds INCREDIBLE... I can't WAIT to hear a whole album of live recordings that sounds like that. I have listened to that one mp3 probably about 50 or more times so far in my car... such a tease, I want to hear the rest of the album. Can hardly wait one more day!

I feel Greg is right on the mark ;) We shouldn't complain. Sure, it's not many songs, but it's FREE, and it costs money to put out this record. So of course they have to try to keep the costs low. In the light of this, I even have to accept the horrible sound of the album (assuming it sounds like the "Suffer" mp3). I mean, I have always immensely respected BR for keeping their sound honest (consider "Tested" and then compare it to, say, all those "Live in a dive" productions by Fat Wreck - or consider "Live at the Palladium" - well, with the exception of those backing harmonies ;->). But one could at least... anyway, I shouldn't even go there. I'm grateful for their effort and the idea, and I guess that's it.

Only 17 songs! that is very disapointing! considering they usually play around 25-30 songs per show i was expecting at least that :(
Why is it definately a confirmation? Tested included three "live in studio"-tracks. It wouldn't surprise me at all if both Resist Stance and the other new song will be "live in studio".

Actually a 30+ songs on the live album would be more appropriate to celebrate the 30 years ...also hope that like ten or more songs aren't like:Sorrow, Digital Boy,Infected,American Jesus...

I'll be honest, wouldn't 30 tracks be better suited? You know, like a full setlist?
I'll be quite gutted if it's another "Digital Boy" "American Jesus" "Sorrow" live release as we've had that already recently with LatP and NMoH Deluxe. The HOB shows would have been fun for us to hear lesser-played tracks. I probably won't even download it if the setlist is worse than the average bootleg.
Still good though; Free! :)

I'd love to have a pair of those, especially in my size, but I'd hate to wear them. I almost never wore my No Stage Diving Shallow Water shirt, which is a fairly common shirt I think.
i mean, Tested had unreleased songs on it too. But they never played those unreleased songs live at the time. What if that other unreleased song is a studio version from the upcoming album. you never know.
Yea, I suppose that is possible. I doubt it though.

What the hell is Brett's obsession with burying Greg's voice as deep as possible in the soundmix? I'm sorry, but even that T-Mobile webstream from last weekend sounded better.

Those are from around when The Empire Strikes First came out, so unfortunately they don't sell them anymore.
