The free 30 Years Live album is now available for downloading. If you haven't signed up for your download ticket for the album, do it at www.badreligion.com.
For those of you who already got your download code, please be patient since the download server has been unstable, so please try streaming it on Spinner if you can't download it.
Here's the tracklist:
First thing that comes to mind: No Sorrow and no 21st Century (Digital Boy) but who cares when we got a good quality version of the new song Resist Stance?
The liner notes can be downloaded at tinyurl.com/brlive.
There's already a topic for this in our forum, so let's hear your opinions!
By the way, the album is available in a lot of different formats like FLAC, AAC and mp3, VBR mp3 and ofcourse in different bitrates.

I really like the Live album, especially because there are songs like Marked and Flat Earth Society that are among my personal favourites - it's nice to hear them being played live.
However, I do feel that Won't Somebody is inferior to the acoustic version. Live with electric guitars makes it sound like a cover version of someone else's song.

Can anyone appreciate that this was a totally free album? All I hear is bitching over song choice.
Thank you BR for a great FREE album.

Have to say i'm not very impressed by either of these two new songs. Resist-stance is very bog-standard to these ears and way below the usual BR standard.Ttitle is very very naff too. I prefer Won't Somebody although the verse seems suspiciously like 'Somebody To Love' by jefferson airplane to me. Hope these are two of the worst songs on the new album - i'm getting a bit worried.

Finally some justice with "marked" and "fuck armageddon". I'm very glad to hear "marked" played live, I really like it (I believe they have played this one only a couple of times and they started to play it again few months ago ) and also glad to hear a GOOD version of "fuck armageddon" (the one from the first album has a poor sound quality and the one from "Tested" is kinda soft)
Hope they continue playing this kind of songs like "marked" that they never use to do
Thumbs up: a great sound quality of the CD!
Thumbs down: the length is very short, why only 40 min??

Won't Somebody is boring, especially the acoustic version. The chords are too common and the vocals are too repeative. The bridge is okay, but I had hoped that they would build up against a climax on that part. I've always enjoyed Brett's songs the most, so expect that he will come up with something superior to this.
Resist Stance is nothing special either, they have tons of simular tracks. Bad Religion had something really interesting going on with "Honest Goodbye", so I hope that they continue on that track.
Otherwise the recordings are great. There could have been some more slow numbers, but it's still great. A nice selection of songs and great harmonies.

My favorite part of the album is that I downloaded it at work! (That's how we old folks stick it to the man ...)
One thing I'd like to know is what shows the individual songs were from. Anybody got a list. Anything from 4/1 in Anaheim will be my new fav.

Wow, they even gave us FLAC files for us audiophiles.
Resist Stance was typical BR brilliance, and even the older tracks which I can't say i've ever seen them perform live before were great, but I have to say that Won't Somebody sucked.
I absolutely loved the acoustic version of Won't Somebody (and the other acoustic tracks they put on the NMoH deluxe edition), but hated it here.
Tracks like Cease work as slower and faster tracks, but Won't Somebody just doesn't. It was best left acoustic.
American Jesus was by far the best on here, but that's my fave. I was surprised 21st Century (Digital Boy) didn't make it on here, as that's the song that first got me hooked onto Bad Religion.

Listened it couple times and to me it sounds kinda dull. Maybe I was expecting a little more but can't complain because it was free! And I really hoped there would be You but you can't get everything you want :P
And the "Fuck Armageddon..." was tagged wrong! Shame on the one who tagged this, haha.
But of course I'm going to give it more time so this is not my final judgement.

Well, I won't complain about the sound and production etc. cause it's free, and we should have anticipated this (and knew about it since the pre-release of Suffer). Instead, I will bite my tongue and highlight the fact that the sound is honest (which most live records are NOT!). And I will celebrate the unexpectedly great song selection. This really is an album for the old fans, as I think it should be. I just still maintain including "Won't sombody" on the new album was not a good idea...

Also, I'm so glad they didn't include Sorrow and 21st Century digital boy.
So glad.
I skip those songs every time they come up.

Holy Crap.
Marked rocked my face off. Anyone have a spatula so I can scrape it off the ground?

Yeah I was also hoping for more songs since I wanted a rich enough playlist to keep me hyped till July, but guess I have to put some extra songs to my player too.
Anyways it's awesome. Love the sound quality/whatever. Raw as hell! Fuck Armageddon is damn powerful. Also love how they keep the songs (especially Flat Earth Society and Tomorrow) fast enough.
And yeah, the new songs rule too. Can't wait to seem 'em live @ Ilosaarirock.

I know I'm a total jack-hole for saying it...but only 17 tracks? They played 30+ every night...
Ok, initial whining out of the way. It's still fucking AWESOME.
