The CD and the LP are both available for preorder on the official BR merch site. There are also a slew of different bundles offered (some of which include Greg's new book and a limited edition shirt).

a like the title names: Avalon and Cyanide hopefully those songs meet its expectatinos. interestign names of WRong Way kids and "the day that the earth stalled" anyway can't wait to hear the whole recod. Devil in Stitches is a bit pop but hopefully the rest of the album will stay solid punk like the Resist Stance and Won't Somebody. All the track titles are longer that 2:00 after the 1st track like Recipe For Hate. Therefore we will expect something different from the usual fast songs we heard in the last 3 albums. I recall TESF first 4 songs were fast and quick and the same for TPOB. and NMOH. So its rational for them to make a different approach in their album. LEt's see what it brings.

Ah, ok, thank you. Well, at least it's something different to anticipate! :)
Resist Stance, surprisingly, is actually longer, despite some of the time on the live recording being devoted to Greg introducing the song. I'm guessing there's a longer solo...
I find it interesting that the album version of Won't Somebody is 20 seconds shorter than the live recording from 30 Years Live. I'm actually really excited to hear the new sounds that bad religion has in store. I mean it is going to sound good either way with greg on vocals, and brooks on drums, jay on bass, ect.

The result is one of the band’s most forward thinking and musically varied albums ever. The Dissent of Man is not only a snapshot of the band’s personal experiences of the past years but also of their continued maturity in songwriting, capturing an array of styles ranging from blazing punk rock songs like the opener “The Day That the Earth Stalled” and “Meeting of the Minds” and classic rock-tinged cuts like “Cyanide” and “Turn Your Back on Me” to radio rock ready hits like the first single “The Devil in Stitches.”
I think we can now also add Turn Your Back on Me to the list of more experimental songs. Brett?
Source
These are some of my favorite songs I’ve ever written. A few of them took me way outside my comfort zone as a writer to a place I haven’t gone since Recipe or Stranger than Fiction. (...) I feel like the last couple of records have been amongst our most conservative, never straying too far from a Bad Religion sound. Whereas on this one we’re taking the songs to a lot of different places, exploring our influences and trying out some new things in a way we haven’t done in years.
OMGOMGOMG! I'm more stoked than ever after reading that statement!! However, I don't quite agree with Brett. I think that the last couple of albums do happen to feature some of the most experimental songs they've ever done: Boot Stamping, Beyond Electric Dreams... and Dearly Beloved and Prodigal Son should be setting the standards for that new BR style.

If they got experimental, fast and pop songs, this will be some weird album à la recipe for hate :)

I've just noticed they have added new combinations for their bundles on KR. You can now find the blue vinyl in many bundles and you can also just order the orange or blue vinyl separately. Hurry up with the orange one. It's only limited to a thousand copies, while the blue one is two thousand.
Also, according to the extra info for the bundles (and guessing from the length of the tracks too), we can pretty much confirm that The Day That The Earth Stalled and Meeting of the Minds are classic BR fast punk rock tracks (that's for you narrow-minded kids -:PP) while Cyanide might turn out to be the most experimental song. So it goes without saying I'm especially looking forward to the latter! Boot Stamping 2.0? Yay!

I should've ordered from KR-EU, but now when just ordering (1 book) made 18USD in postages VS. the 55USD postages for (hoodie+4tees+3xLP's+CD+book) from KR-US... When comparing these, shouldn't the 55USD postages have been about 300USD or so instead if I gotta pay almost another book price just to get one?? It should be cheaper for me from KR-EU but prolly the stuff gotta be shipped from the US even though at first (at least the signed A.Evol-book (if Greg ain't in EU signing 'em of course))...

Yea, I've paid taxes a couple of times. Something over 70euros and you'll get to pay something over here, if I rememba correctly.. Hope I won't have to retrieve the upcoming package from the customs cuz it went up to 200USD or so... Plus, the customs got their own shitty times that they're open on the week and I have to be at work usually then.. I like much more the postal office.. -:D

Of course someone messed up my order, probably they are shipping the rest of the items now and will have to send me my bundle later.

@Che sus: Depends on how nice Customs is feeling. They don't always charge taxes for merch from overseas. It's really just a matter of luck. I haven't had to pay taxes the few times I ordered from the US to Germany.
Also, packages under a certain value (in Germany, it's 22 Euro) are exempt from taxes. But since you're probably getting one of the bundles, that probably doesn't help.

Why didn't you get all of it from the EU site? Won't you have to pay taxes for stuff ordered from the US? Shipping was something like 8¤ for me for the 3 x vinyl + the books/shirt/cd bundle
I just rushed straight forward to the US site cuz I've always ordered from there. The US store usually had all the cool stuff I wanted and the EU all the stuff I already have. Therefore KR-US. Besides, now I oughta get the US pressing of the records.. Taxes may come, but I'll get to that, later.. -:D

Yeah you're right. Sorry. Like I said on the other news, I was just angry, because this isn't what I expected from the new album, but hey, 13 songs left ;) and Resist Stance sounds nice. And I don't want Brett to justify himself on here, I said I'd like to see what he thinks about all those negative critics and polemic on his new song. I'm sure that if I could understand the writing process on Devil in Stitches, it would help me like it more. But I don't expect this from him and I know he owes us nothing. From now on, I'll shut my big mouth and just skip this track and be happy :)

I totally agree with Brett Religion. It really amazes me to see so many negative responses.
Didn't the guys say this album would be very different compared to what they have done so far? It gives me the feeling that BR is not allowed to try other things. Right now I really dig The Devil In Stitches, I like the production a lot and the artwork is okay.

I'm sorry Groomits, but... WTF? Are you serious? Are you really expecting Brett to come here and explain to you why you might not like the song. People, grow up! Are you expecting the band to release ATG or No Control every two years? Has it crossed your mind that maybe people liking this song are not only into PUNK and are appreciative of their favorite band expanding their sound and trying other things?
Personally, I think the fillers on the last albums have all been courtesy of Greg but I would never expect or dare tell him to come and justify his work to us... fans sitting on a couch. I mean, come on, it's just a song!

In all the reasons I heard about why people like BR, there's no single reason that can explain someone loving this song, seriously. Maybe the lyrics...? The solo, the melody and the chords choice are lame. A palm mute bridge with no lyrics with the same chords as the verse... great time filling, wow! The chorus is far from being special.. good try on the catchy pop hook in the "ruuuUUUuuuUUuun", but it doesn't do it for me.
In my Itunes, Devil in Stitches is followed by Ouverture and Sinister Rouge... God, I didn't really dig these songs before, but after a poppy and slow one, they sound really, really nice.
I would really like to read Brett impressions on the negative critics, maybe it would helps us understand something we don't...
Though, I really look forward for the new album and I'm hoping Brett will show us the real and only punk song writer he is.

Try out KR-Europe instead.. The book "only" cost me 36¤(!!!) incl shipping though..
The 50$ shipping wasn't that bad from KR-US when thinking of the
load that I ordered from there.
I oughta get some Epitaph stuff then instead of Epitaph Europe (ref to CD&LP's)..

Me either, and the 3 songs we've heard so far: resist stance, won't somebody (which I loved as acoustic, but it should have stayed that way) and whatever the hell this new song is...sounds like a slowwwww album

Cyanide is 3:55 min long and so, the longest song of the album... I don't think it'll be the can't stop it track. Unless it's a 3:55 min fast song, which would be really cool.

Here's my guesses for who-wrote-what based soley on song titles.
The Day That the Earth Stalled Brett. It's a sci-fi movie reference like The Empire Strikes First.
Only Rain Sounds kinda poetic, which is usually Brett territory.
The Resist Stance Confirmed Greg.
Won’t Somebody Confirmed Brett
The Devil in Stitches Confirmed Brett
Pride and the Pallor Could go either way, but I'm leaning Greg
Wrong Way Kids For some reason, it feels more Brett... but Greg has Latchkey Kids and Hippie Killers, which sound similar in theme. So I'll go Greg for this one.
Meeting of the Minds Greg. Reminds me of his dissertation.
Someone to Believe Brett.
Avalon Unsure.
Cyanide I'm leaning Brett. I'm thinking this will be the Can't Stop It/Murder track.
Turn Your Back On Me Brett.
Ad Hominem I would be flabbergasted if this wasn't written by Greg.
Where The Fun Is Sound Beach Boy-esque, which points to Brett.
I Won’t Say Anything Sounds similar to Won't Somebody, so I'll go with Brett.
Finite Definitely Greg.

I thought it looked like a cheap anaglyph effect too at first, but I realized that, like Brett said, it's more like when the cyan, magenta and black toners aren't properly aligned. However, one could ask why you'd use the cyan and magenta when the image is in black and white? And what happened to yellow? :P
Never mind all that rabble, I LOVE THE NEW ARTWORK, IT'S EFFING AMAZING!! :D

But I love the album, and now even more excited. I wonder how many of these songs they'll play on tour before the album comes out?

An other album with no title track :P
And on wikipedia, about the upcoming album, they wrote : Greg Graffin : vocals, piano. I hope it's not just a little part like on fields of mars, but something really integrated to a song.

Really guys? You're okay with being called one of the best bands in the world? I mean personally, I agree... but don't you think that just sounds conceited (even if it is the merch site saying it and not the Epitaph site or badreligion.com)? I was a bit surprised to see that.
I fail at life. I meant to put my post with your quote Simian. Anyways, I think it's perfectly fine. In the liner notes of Stranger Than Fiction (I think it was that one) the band says that their goal is to be the best band in the world. So this is nothing new and I think it's perfectly fine that they feel that way about themselves (if it was indeed them saying it.
I wonder what the first single for this album will be.
I'd guess either The Resist Stance, or Devil in Stitches.
