Because there's nothing better than to not agree with others when it comes to your favorite band, here's a bunch of reviews of The Dissent Of Man. Most of them are obviously in English. However, we've also included some in Swedish, Finnish, German and Dutch. Thanks to all who have found these in the tubes!

And last but not least, here's Geoff with an awesome review of just The Devil In Stitches:
Several months ago ComicSans sent us information about a little project he just completed work on. The Bad Religion Live Anthology is basically a compilation of the best performance of every song Bad Religion has released (where recordings exist). It is fitting in the 30th Anniversary years and celebratory nature of the recent tour(s).
ComicSans:
This collection is inspired by an old Pearl Jam collection that circulated between fans years ago (and presumably still does). The collection was a result of fan collaboration to select the ultimate live performance of every song Pearl Jam had ever played. My goal here has been the same: to collect the "ultimate" live recording of every Bad Religion song (released on album).
They have been selected based on the following criteria (in no particular order)
1) Available Recording: does a recording even exist?
2) Recording Quality: where possible, I have tried to select recordings with optimum audio quality (official releases, soundboard/broadcast recordings). This makes the listening experience more enjoyable, and makes the collection as a whole a little more even.
3) Performance Quality: Obviously. I have a personal soft spot for background vocals, so recordings where the other band members are mic'd have taken precedence.
4) Uniqueness: Rare, interesting or unique performances get extra points. This could be a unique arrangement, vocal melody, or introduction (for instance, the "festival version" of Generator). So in a few instances, an acoustic or individual performance has been selected, but only occasionally.
5) Where possible, I have tried to stay away from official releases, but unfortunately this is not always possible.
Please recognize this collection was created for my own enjoyment, and I'd like to share it but it does reflect my own tastes and opinions. Hopefully if you bother to download it you will enjoy it, as a one-stop-shop for some of the best Bad Religion moments of the last 30 years.
A complete tracklist with Date, Venue and City is included.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=RN4ZL406
We realize that with the release of The Dissent Of Man, this compilation is already outdated. But hey, I'm sure this can only mean that it will be updated when the time is right. For now, enjoy!
So as you might have noticed, not only did Bad Religion start a new tour - which, according to Jay, is partially still the 30th Anniversary tour - Greg's book tour has started as well.
On September 28 Greg visited the PowerHouse Arena in New York City to talk about his book and apparently Steve Olson - Anarchy Evolution's co-author - was also there. Also present was Torbar who uploaded some videos from the event. Audio quality is pretty bad, but it's better than nothing. Pretty much the first part was Greg and Steve Olson talking about the book, then a Q&A, and then there was an autograph session.
Part 1:
Part 2:
And here's a clip of Greg talking about Into The Unknown (near the very end of the video):
Thanks Torbar!
Here's another interview with Jay: http://www.beatroute.ca/view_article.php?sectionID=15&articleID=3558
Some quotes from it:
"It’s always a good thing to venture into new territory. We like to hit the reset button once and while,” affirms founding member and bassist Jay Bentley. “We’re always looking to the next project because we view every album as a plateau: making this record took us into the unknown and that was a huge learning experience. Whenever we put our heads together over a record, things inevitably come down to the question, 'How do you define power?' There’s always going to be another punk band out there who’s louder and faster and is bound and determined to try and prove it. We’re more concerned with sharing ideas. That conveyance can be achieved in many ways and in the end those interactions are the longest standing. Even things that seem diametrically opposed to one another can be quite powerful."
"(...) drummer Bruce Wackerman (...)"
"The days of late nineties were about the deepest valley we ever entered as a band,” Bentley admits. “There were moments when we thought quitting might be justifiable, but going through that experience of being humiliated made us appreciate all the things that we’ve been given in life. That was the point where we knew that we either had to dedicate ourselves completely to the craft or just stop doing it all together. In times of doubt, it’s often best to move along from your comfort zone. If you settle in, you’ll never know what’s out there waiting for you to find it."
"I believe that we’ve struck that awkward balance between ego and taking pride in our work,” postulates Bentley. “Truly, we are humbled that anyone even pays attention to what we have to say. Finally, we’ve just settled into this area of gratitude and as we move into the future our focus is placed on pure enjoyment."
Also, during the past couple of weeks a number of interviews with Greg Graffin started to surface on the internet... and will probably continue to so for a while. Most of the interviews are pretty much the same, but we'll try to pick one out every now and then that at least contain something (as little as it may be) about Bad Religion.
Here's one to start with from Discover Magazine:

I've heard almost all the songs on it and knew where they were from so I was pretty disappointed. The only ones I've never heard before were Beyond Electric Dreams and the Live Again one. Some of the versions that were chosen aren't exactly "unique" as others but I guess this was all up to personal preference. However I do agree with the Only Entertainment pick. The back up vocals are super on point, unlike in the other ones.

Am I doing something wrong with the download? I just get one .mp3 called pilot. When I play it it has about 20 minutes worth of songs but its in a sort of podcast format. There is no tracklisting, just the one song.

Just read a couple of reviews so far, but the first one said that Graffin wrote "Only Rain," and the second one I read mentioned "long time members like Brett Gurewitz, Greg Hetson and Jay Bentley handling songwriting." Seriously, reviewer: kill yourself. Or just do some really basic research, I don't care. Pick one.
