"The first Australian tour dates have been confirmed"... So there are definitely going to be more dates announced? Festivals are OK (if you like that kind of thing...) for crappy bands who only have a few songs to choose from... forty minutes is plenty. Bands who have been going for decades deserve more stage time. (Yes, I realise that Van Halen and Alice cooper have been around for ages...)
Any more info Jesse?
Cheers

The lineup sucks and it's stupidly expensive. If they don't play sideshows this may be the one time they're in Australia that I don't see them. Fingers crossed.
Can't process how this tour matches with this schedule: http://www.cornell.edu/academics/calendar/2011-12.cfm http://registrar.sas.cornell.edu/courses/roster/FA11/BIOEE/#BIOEE2070 And I definitely hope you guys get some real shows thrown in there. Seems crazy for them to go almost 20,000 miles just for some festival dates.
Apparently the Cornell schedule is taught in 'blocks', and Graffin is sharing the teaching load. I can only assume that they're touring when the other dude is lecturing.

Yep, I'd say Sydney's got a pretty good shot at having a sideshow (maybe Face to Face opening?).... fingers crossed!

You have made a critical error. Danzig is going to be there. Why WOULDN'T you go just to see him, and as a bonus you could see Bad Religion.

First time I've ever thought about not seeing BR when they've been in the same country as me.

Excellent. AU$150+ per ticket, based on last years price,to see one band. (that's about US$160-170).
