Australian Tour officially cancelled and a show in Peru has been added!

Today, Bad Religion officially confirmed that the Australian shows of the Southern Continents Tour have been canceled. The band will try to get back to Australia as soon as possible if they manage to work out a new tour with a different promoter!
The cancellation of the Australian leg has apparently no effect on the show in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Also, a new South American date has been added to the tour, being Lima, Peru. The exact date is still unknown, but rumors are it's going to be on Friday October 7th.
Extra tidbit: Australian fans seem to have bad luck. This is the second time a Bad Religion tour has been cancelled. The first time was in 2002 during The Process of Belief Tour.

My band was supposed to be on the Soundwave tour with BR and a host of others which was really exciting but some wank headliner pulled out or something and the whole thing got pulled!!!! they'll be back though! |

Devastated that you’re not coming to Australia anymore.
Was only going to go to Soundwaves to see Bad Religion as you weren’t doing a sideshow. Always seems to be issues with Soundwaves festivals (in Sydney at least) . No water/shade in 40c heat, last minute venue changes, transport issues, and now cancellations. Grats to Peru and hope to see you tour again sometime shortly. |
