Bad Religion to play Punk Rock Bowling and Music Festival

Bad Religion will be playing the 15th annual Punk Rock Bowling and Music Festival in Las Vegas. The festival takes place downtown Las Vegas from May 25 - 27. Other bands that will play are Flag (according to the bill "Original members Keith Morris, Chuck Dukowski, and Bill Stevenson with Stephen Egerton performing the music of Black Flag), D.R.I., The Damned, Subhumans, Lagwagon, Bouncing Souls and many more.
This is the first time Bad Religion will be playing a show at the festival. However, in 2007, Jay, Brian and Greg Hetson participated in the bowling tournament. It's still unknown on which day Bad Religion will play and if they will participate in the tournament again.
Ticket sale starts on Tuesday January 29.

The Damned...
One of my absolute awesome live songs I've ever heard and seen is by The Damned. They performed this song called "Street of Dreams" at the Tavastia Club as the show opener.. After all BR live stuff (nothing beats BR, okay!!!?) that opening tune was truly something to die for!! Otherwise.. I'm not into The Damned, at all. The set as a whole wasn't that special.. But that performance of "Street of Dreams" I will never forget.. PS. Don't bother look the web for something like it. I've done that already and there's no version like that nowaday live performance to be found. Sure, live clips can be found of it.. But nothing with a sound that ever will get close to the live experience I got from them that one amazing godlike night... Btw.. Mr Vanian truly has style. He drove the show thru with 1st class.. |
