Ex-original T.S.O.L./Joykiller singer Jack Grisham finishes two new LPs, one with Brett Gurewitz, The Go. This was actually posted December 7, 1998 by Steve Kaye, who passed along the following report from a close associate of Grisham named Caitlin: "Here's what I know about the solo record: The music was written by Jack and Jay Smith (from a band called The DeRita Sisters and Junior), lyrics by Jack. Sally Browder produced it. I don't know the names of all the players, but ex-Weirdos and Joykiller Billy Persons plays bass and there are guest appearances by Joykiller's Ronnie King and Sean Greaves. It will mostly likely be released by Epitaph in the next few months. It's not totally decided when yet. The Go is a second project and they just finished mixing their new record on Friday. Brett Gurewitz produced and played guitar. Jay Smith did some writing. Frank Agnew from the Adolescents (who toured with T.S.O.L. on second guitar in 1981 ed.) did a guest spot with some guitar solos. A guy named Chris Sprague did backing vocals on both this and the solo. It is a different sound from the solo record--more guitar, almost no keyboards--but also really good. Of course."
