Update (11/25/13): According to Kingd Road Merchandise, the Father Christmas 7" single has been delayed for approximately 2 weeks due to unforeseen production issues. However, the single will still arrive before Christmas!
About an hour ago Epitaph released the first song off of the upcoming Christmas Songs album on Youtube: O Come, O Come Emmanuel.
Next to that, as part of the new Kingsroad deals there's now also a "Father Christmas" 7" EP, which is a song that cannot be found on the Christmas Songs album. It's available in the Mega Bundle, but is also sold separately.
Father Christmas is a song by The Kinks from 1977:

Probably they waited for all orders to come in and are printing up just the orders, nothing more. Then when it went to pressing of the vinyl i believe they had to stand in line for all the releases that's going on around christmas.
I have a record company myself and got this message a few days ago. Holidays Coming Up! All releases with release date before mid-January should be submitted no later than December 1st. This due to reduced capacity at both the services and Phonofile over the holiday period. |

I'm so happy that these songs are gonna be coming out. It's like 2 worlds colliding. hard to explain! I love alot of the old hymns and the way the songs are written for 4 part harmonies.... not the frosty the snowman type stuff... oddly psyched for this.
