Oh weird. I go away for awhile and Hetson goes AWOL. That's too bad. I think I'll always associate Hetson with BR, no matter who replaces him.

Hetson is a legend and also is one of the best punk guitarist ever. Bad Religion has a tough schedule and they don't promote themselves at all. Could any of us imagine the day that B.R. sells out? We are so lucky that they are still playing and producing the best music ever with true heart and soul..the lyrics and composition of True North is truly a masterpiece..did we see it on the chart..NO.. did the critics in the land of competition say a word..No..,,I saw DimKich on his first night with B.R. and he killed it,,..except for SORROW which has a tough beat..HA HA.. LONG LIVE BAD RELIGION AND GREG GRAFFIN WHO IS MY INSPIRATION!!

I am still waiting for Bobby to rejoin the band so they'll have two drummers.

Honestly, the band sounds better, seems to have more fun. It's their band. If you don't agree with whom is in the band, go have your own. You should be worried if they start to suck, but it's obviously not the case. Ok he's wearing a scarf but Jay had long hair and weird long t shirt in the 90's, and Brian played in Junkyard... so who cares?

I'm disapointed no one has noticed my super smart and clever reference to Dumb and Dumber...

Jay, why focus on all the negative comments? There are many positive ones here, plus, we are allowed to pay tribute to the departing Greg...

I remember when Tim Gallegos was replaced by this Jay guy.. who (so I heard) paid Graffin approximately $2478,89 to get back in the band. True story.

When Baker joined the band or back in the day with Hetson, they had punk rock royal pedigree; the drummer stool has been a'revolvin' for a bit when Brooks came in. This is different. This is a bit worrisome

We will really miss Hetson, because he was able to bring so much enegry during concerts, jumping and running everywhere! I personnaly hope that Mike will follow this example.

No it's just my opinion. I liked the band just as much with Bobby on drums and i saw them with hetson and Tim and they both do a good job as second guitar player. It's a fact that most people just enjoyed the shows last year and it would have been something else entirely if Greg graffin was replaced. And in my opinion it would also be shocking if I heard they would play without Brian or jay

There are a lot of things that we just have to admit, like the people leaving the band. And this all goes to our priorities and personal favors.

Brett wasn't in the band, but replaced by someone called Brian Baker. It took me some time to get used to it. Now I can't imagine the band without Brian.

Created an account to share my thoughts, never felt the need to write in any forums but have read them off of this site for a long time. I do not personally feel Mike Dimkich was the best replacement I know this opinion might make me seem like an asshole but just had to say it. I don't like the way he plays the songs, his stange presence seems like he is always checking if anyone is around so that he can rip a fart, and finally I can't get over the leather pants and scarf he should have joined AFI. I am sure he is a nice guy and talented in his own way but seeing him in Bad Religion is really off-putting.

I hope the rest of the band are on good terms with Hetson still, and when whatever issues he's having get settled, he will be welcomed back to the band with open arms.

Hetson is a great guitarist and more importantly, a great guy, and I wish him all the best whatever he does.

Also, if this photo means Dimkich is in and Hetson out, doesn't that imply that Brett is also out? This is the first band photo I think I've ever seen without Brett.

I suppose they might have taken the picture specifically for the festival and they want to show only the members who will actually be playing. But then that wouldn't say anything about the member status of Hetson, only that he's not expected to play Download.

It's kind of a bummer that they didn't bring in someone who can actually contribute to the oozin' aahs, though, now that they had the chance. Jay and Brian have a really hard time doing the recorded aahs justice. An extra set of pipes would have been a welcome addition.
