Review Tilburg, The Netherlands, May 18th.

Saw a great, great show in Tilburg last tuesday. The venue was packed...sold out to the last ticket. I heard a lot of 'rare' stuff, like Man With A Mission, Heaven Is Falling, You, Anastesia plus they played Sinister Rouge, The Empire Strikes First and Gods Love from the new album. It sounded like the band had a lot of fun which they didn't expect on a tuesday night in the small town of Tilburg. When Graffin asked who wasn't actually from the town about 90 percent of the hands were raised which was kind of a laugh. Besides the 'foto-moment' in which the band posed for a photoshoot by the audience, Graffin rambled about the government a bit and lauched into a ferocious version of 'Recipe For Hate'. Other highlights I can remember where the sing-as-long version of 'Generator' and off course our all-time favorite 'Do what you want'. Last thing that struck me was the extent in which the audience (kiddies slamdancin', us elderly in the back) was cheering and singin' along with the songs (even the new unreleased ones). I for one had barely a voice left... In all it was by far the best concert of the three I saw over the couple of years in Holland. Best thing? They promised to come back!
