oitotheworld: Umm, no. No versions of TESF, TPoB have anything but an Epitaph/Epitaph Europe label on it. They have nothing to do with Sony or Warner whatsoever.

whoops.. take out the word "working"..
anyway, the only way they can conceal that information is if it isn't offical yet. could be that brett is in the works of signing the company or part of it over to a major. if you listen to the way he's talked about majors over the years, its hard to believe he'd do that.

well, its illegal to conceal the names of the executives working running an american company, so if you want to know who runs epitaph, look no further than epitaph. they can't legally lie about it, and i'm pretty sure brett isn't interested in legal problems, with the music business in the state it is in.

It is a label, it's a rumor that it's owned by a bigger label. Brett owns entire Epitaph!

"From punk band Bad Religion (who run hugely successful imprint Epitaph)"
Epitaph isnt an Imprint is it?
.
I thought an imprint was just where they put a different name on a release other than the actual record label name. Such as Dragnet is an Imprint of Epic.
.
Epitaph is an independent label i thought, not an Imprint.

It's not wrong at all, it's comparing artists across various genres who have started their own label. With BR flying the punk rock flag! How can that be bad.
