Epiphany & To Another Abyss, yeah I definitely see that simliarity (mainly in the outros).
But I'm not complaining. At least it's not THIS blatant:

Katie, I definetely dig the Atheist Peace outro too, it just seemed tacked on, that's all. It's something I've never seen BR do, no matter how short the song (and eventual album) is... so it seemed like it was there to fill up space.

I didn't say it sounded JUST LIKE "Struck a Nerve", I said that there was something about it that reminded me of it. Just the over-all feel of it. It wasn't a criticism of either song; I love them both. Maybe it's the personal touch that Graffin put into the song, because the material seems a lot more personal than usual, just as "Struck a Nerve" did. That's all I was saying.

What I've noticed about some of these new songs is they sound reminiscent of American Lesion.... Namely To Another Abyss and Boot Stamping...

"Sounds JUST like struck a nerve"
Oh my fucking God! You guys really must be deaf! Hahahaha!
Struck a nerve contains weird chords, not a single power chord in the entire song. To another abyss only contain power chords in the chorus.
The only connection I can find between these songs is the tempo.
Two songs that DOES sound somewhat alike is epiphany and to another abyss.

"what will the next album be like?
if there will be a another album..."
Last Monday I saw an interview with Jay and Greg H. on MTV Germany's. Among other things, Jay said that they're gonna be touring until November, then take December off to be with their families and, from January on they're gonna begin to work on their new album.

Yeah, it sounds just like Stuck a nerve. But when you're doing power chord punk, it's hard to come up with completely new riffs after 250 or so songs. It's not as blatant as, say, Best For You and Quality or Quantity.

I think that instrumental at the end of "Atheist Peace" is really cool...and also the vocal harmonies that they do near the end of the song itself. I can't help but to sing along to it whenever I hear it.
This is random, but does anyone else think that "To Another Abyss" is sort of reminiscent of "Struck a Nerve"? Like with the vocals and just the general sound of it. Maybe it's just me...

I dunno, I think that last bit after Atheist Peace was filler if I ever saw any... I think it was there to differ itself from All There Is which comes right after since those two songs start out so similarly

I disagree, I think that the album is plently long enough. It's at the point where there is almost no filler, yet it still lasts long enough to not leave you wanting a lot more (like Generator did).

Yea, it's still great. BR makes up for it in proficiency... They've had 3 albums since 2000.... while my fave band Green Day still didn't put out any real new stuff since 2000's album... only 2 comps and 2 re-releases.... errrgh... at least the wait is almost over :)

IMO, there's only one thing that keeps this album from becoming the best: Its length... under 40 minutes...ehhhhh. If I could get maybe 3 more tracks on of quality like Sinister Rouge, TESF, or All There Is, I'd say its the best

"New Bad Religion CD is among the group's best work". Among the best doesn't mean the same as the best...
