I cant believe Brett took a crack at me like that... "we're not a funny punk band that turned political" ...Ouch, sorry for leaving Epitaph, Brett.

the "cool" jesus everybody likes is just a product of clever marketing thanks to the church and the bible. i bet the real jesus wasnt even close to what he gets idolized, havent you people seen THE LIFE OF BRIAN?

Yeah it did seem like Greg fell uncharacteristically silent for a while at the end there. I really liked reading about how he always wanted to be a singer though, and that even when he was 3 years old he'd sing in front of a mirror. Haha...Greg the diva
I agree Grillo, I think Jesus was a cool guy too, even if he was just a charismatic lower-class carpenter from Judea. He had some good ideas, and a real humanity and courage that lasted until he died. It's cool that Brett feels the same way.

Where did Greg go in this interview? He just went away after a few questions.
I'd like to see his take on the "thesarus" writing style.

I'd agree that Jesus was a pretty cool guy :) Surely he did exist, and was a cool person, with good ideals, but somehow the story about him got hugely exaggerated. Cause surely he did exist.

Brett says he is sort of agnostic, but still beliefs in some sort of ultimate force, i.e. something in nature but nothing really like God.

Wait...is Brett an agnostic, or an atheist like Graffin?
I don't know why, but it struck as really cool that Brett said that he thought that Jesus was one of the "coolest dudes that ever lived".
