I would delete it if I could... It seems admin hasn't been online for a few days, and he has restricted Internet access right now. For example, he hasn't replied to my emails for the last couple of days. Just wait.

sorry to disappoint, but that dress was a one-off. it didn't work out as well as i had hoped, straps were breaking and the damn thing kept wanting to fall off! it served it's purpose (pissing off EVERYONE, including but not limited to certain band members), and now resides under the "left it at the hotel after the show" file.

It's all good, Jay...Thanks for clearing all this up. I guess there was just a fuck up in communication about it.
Now that I really think about it, Jan. 2005 does sound like a ridiculously close date for you guys to start working on another album. I mean, you've got all this touring, and whatever else is going on...
Jesus, do you guys EVER take a vacation??

i don't quite understand how i am the one responsible for this bit of information. it seems to me that "hoorayforme" misinterpreted what was said. i would not have stated that we were making a new record in january of 2005, that would be preposteous. surprisingly, i seem to be the only one that does have an actual idea of what we are doing, but i cannot be held responsible for the actions of each band member. if someone decides to cancel a tour, i cant change that. when i say things like "this might be our last record", or "this might be our last show", it's not a threat or a joke, simply the most honest statement i can make. i made a concious decision not to blow smoke up people's asses long ago, so i prefer not to sugar coat statements about the future.

I'm sure Kristoffer fixes it as soon as he sees this, he's currently at his parents, and is stuck with a 56k connection.

hey jayb, i actually said "for the first time, i actually think it would be possible.". i was about to write that to you from the contact email address on the official BR website, but i couldn?t find it there. surf your own site, you?ll either find out i?m right or you can kick my ass.
responding to your latest post (jayb): i think we?re all agreeing here that this news was not serious, because i already pointed out that especially jay is not always a reliable source for quotes in interviews

if you want to see more misstakes, watch the epiphany clip of Rock Am Ring 2004. at the end after the solo, greg starts to sing again but he forgets the text, and he sounds like a baby at that part.

@Martin: Sorry when I was wrong about the cut of the four songs! I thought that might have been the reason because the not aired it?!
But anyway I like the version of "Sinister Rouge"! I think that the mistake makes the song even more good! You really see that the guys are making a fun out of their own mistake!
And if the whole show will ever be aired?! I would like to see that but I doubt it. But just see what happens! I got the show anyway to watch it over and over again ;-)! And I really like it!!!

well if they say they are gonna air it, then i am looking forward to it, although its dumb from them to leave those short four songs out. we wouldnt have to wait, and they could have given another band the chance to get aired that perhaps wont get aired at all...
anyway its all strange this year, ROCK IM PARK wasnt recorded at all from the bavarian television, another premiere.
as for linkin park, i was there in 2002 when they played and i must say they were pretty good in my oppion. papa roach had a miserable performance that day, they probably wish to forget that day forever.

so now, when i see a "live" clip from LP, i?ll always know that they re-recorded it and that?s fake. same thing with avril. it?s not cool, because they shouldn?t call it a live recording then anymore.
you?re right about the other thing, rockpalast simply doesn?t get so much airtime anymore on wdr. this sucks indeed. it started about a year ago. wdr used to show rockpalast almost every saturday and sunday two years ago. but i do indeed keep my hopes up, mainly because i emailed them and they answered that all the main shows are to be aired later; they even promised me to show the lagwagon gig.
and, remember that them showing BR (albeit only 35 minutes) in the first rock-night might just be an indicator that the whole gig will be aired later. and don?t forget that the guys in charge at rockpalast are all over 40, they might not even know all the younger bands

i don?t think you?re getting my point here about linkin park.
i think it?s fundamental that in live shows, band members sometimes fuck up. it?s nice to hear that, it?s also nice to hear them change a bassline for a show, and so on. I myself feel like all changes like overdubs and pick-ups are fake, as if the band is afraid to admit that they?re not as perfect when they?re on stage. i think it?s really awesome that Tested is a certified example of the other way. i?m kind of proud of BR for that.
if you?ve seen the linkin park show from RaR 2 or 3 years ago, you know why they?ll practically re-do the whole show before they allow it on tv this time. their bald-headed singer was so unbelievably out of tune back then that i was actually cringing and laughing my ass off at the same time when i caught a song of that show on mtv europe. (it was "crawling".)

1. the overdub thing was no bad thing, it was a misstake by ROCK AM RING, you could not hear the accousic guitar, so they send the guitar player extra to the studio to record that missing part. i think thats pretty cool.
the comparison to tested is unfair here, its not about a live album or playing bad, its about a guitar that wasnt pluged in.
2. dont put your hopes high on seeing all the partial concerts as full shows. look at the rockpalast dates for this year, only 6 i think which are all only 1:30 to 2 hours long. now look at the headliners and figure out how many full concerts there will be...
3. no linkin park is not a whole other stories. a band is a band. i dont expect to see the "whole" show of br on tv, i wish they would air that, but the whole thing this year looks pretty different than the other years. dont forget bad religion was on the main stage 2002, this year only on the second stage...

i wonder what makes you think that BR?s show was 35-40 minutes on tv because of the sound mishaps, when EVERY concert on tv was cut to almost exactly the same length, even though die toten hosen played for almost 2 hours at the festival.

sorry guys, but that?s just wrong. first of all, what was broadcast until now was ONLY the "RaR rock-night", with the highlights of almost every show from the main events. the only concerts from RaR that were completely on tv at this time were "Dick Brave" and "In Extremo". even the festival?s headlining bands (korn, toten hosen) were cut down to 40 minutes in the rocknight - including BR.
full shows from RaR will be broadcast, but only in the future.
i am aware of the fact that most bands do so-called overdubs and pick-ups before their live shows are allowed on tv, but BR don?t do that. read the liner notes to Tested for that.
Linkin Park is a whole ?nother story isn?t it.

they had to ask the bands what they were allowed to show, and the bands had to agree with it. there is no point in cutting out 4 songs of bad religion to save time! they started with song 5 (i dont count overture as a single song). the sound was messed up in the first four songs, especially in the first song as usual, but then also he fucked up the lyrics of sinister rouge, so i am pretty sure its not a time thing. i also heard they got to see the recording afterwards in the cutting room. just an example of other bands: during avril lavigne's performance the accoustic guitar wasnt pluged in, so they send the guitar player into the studio to overdub that guitar part! linkin park still hasnt told them what they can show, they are still looking at the stuff.

i wonder if this was the real jayb down here. for the first time, i actually think it would be possible.
anyway, i think there?s absolutely no chance that they?d begin working so early. they never did that. and jay is not exactly known for always telling the truth in interviews, he?s more of a clown there. i like that, by the way.
(his greatest was "try www.thereisnohiddentrack.duh !")
american lesion 2 is another story, i think i?ve read 2 sources already that talk about recording that late this year.
@Bj?rn from Germany: it?s utter nonsense that sinister rouge was cut from the wdr broadcast because of the mistake. all that happened was that wdr only showed about 35 minutes of EVERY show from RaR, and thus they started the BR cut at their 6th song or something.
they will, however, broadcast the FULL BR show from RaR in the future.

@John: In the interview which was taken at Rock am Ring Jay says that the will go back to the States right after this show and will do the Warped Tour.
But anyway I?m sure that they will do a "normal" tour to the States too. Maybe right after the Warped Tour.
Or, because I still doubt that they will start working on a new album in January, they will do some shows in the USA in early 2005?!
But in this interview Jay also says that they will surely come back to Europe.
So we will have to wait and see what happens.

Or, because I still doubt that they will start working on a new album in January, they will do some shows in the USA in early 2005?! But in this interview Jay also says that they will surely come back to Europe. So we will have to wait and see what happens. |

Does anyone know if there's been any official word on non-WarpedTour touring in the U.S.? I'm depating whether or not I should go to that, because I'd much rather see a plain' ol (much longer!) Bad Religion show, and if they plan on touring...

I saw this show on MTV too! The funny thing about the whole thing was, that they showed footage from Rock am Ring including "Sinister Rouge", which was cutted out on the german WDR-TV Show because of Greg missing some vocals

![]() In the interview Jay was asked what they?re gonna do from now on! Then he counted several things mentioned by HoorayForMe. In the end, when he didn?t really know what to mention more he just said "...and then we will see. MAYBE we start working on our next album?!"! So it?s not definite! We?ll se if it is true or not. I would appreciate it if they would come back to Europe for some more shows including more songs from TESF! But I wouldn?t be angry about a new album in 2005 too ![]() |

hummm, seems that a new "holy trilogy" is being accomplished here...
Come on, Bad Religion, make us a modern Against The Grain and we could all die happy ;)
