I agree with you, Thomas. I think that the voting system in our country needs a complete over-hault...for one, abolish the electoral college. After all, we aren't a country of yokels and uneducated shop-keepers and fishermen anymore.
I'm so tired of this whole "you're either one of them, or one of THEM" mind-set in America. You're either Republican, or Democrat. You're either Conservative, or Liberal. You just get classified so easily. Maybe it's just my own naive idealism speaking, but that's not what this country should be about.

What is freedom any more? I have a hard time finding the meaning to that question in this country. I wonder what freedom means in other countrys? Is it there any place out there that is less controling of its population?
I believe what our country is need of is complete government reform. Which I believe would mainly consist of the deconstruction of the bi-party system. I am irritated at all the people in this nation who seem to force themselves to pick sides. I myself have recently made the decision to vote Kerry. I like most people think that it wont make a difference at all. But I do hope it will. If a person doesn't hope for things to get better than what more is there for him or her to live for.

I'm not American anyway, but if Bush gets reelected, he can do whatever he wants for the next term it feels like... He can't be reelected twice right?
If you want Bush out, vote Kerry, but the American voting system is fucked up anyway... You have one extreme right party and one right party...

well, well, well,
go and fight and die for your country. Mike is right. the democrats will pass the draft maybe a little slower than the republicans. don't believe those in power now who are saying we don't need the draft. they're lying because it is an election year. both will deny it, and both will pass it. the only question is who are you gonna go vote for? and who are you gonna go kill?

Once again, Mr. Brett delivers our daily dose of reason. This is apalling. This administration is extremely shady. A Kerry-Edwards one would be just as bleak I'm afraid.
