if you still think the article says that "let them eat war" is the title track, do me a favor and look up the grammatical term "apposition".

tootiehalo, do you not understand simple english? title-track or title-song refers to the song that shares the same name as the album. everybody and their mom knows this. if you don't know this, you're behind, and need to catch up to a world of modern thinking. you'd think that people who listen to the smartest band in the world would also maintain some common sense and basic intelligence. title track have and always will be tracks that share the title of the album. obviously materialist is not technically a title track. Strangely, Process Of Belief is the only bad religion album since "back to the known" that didn't have a title song. Since Materialist is the one to say the titular line, its the closest yer gonna get on THAT particular album.

Although the album roils with songs about the political climate ("Let Them Eat War," the title track)
it says "songs", so "the title track" must refer to another song, not to "let them eat war".

Sorry guys, but it's Robert who's correct. The writer is trying to say that BOTH the title track AND Let Them Eat War are songs about the current political climate.

"Title track" does not refer to a song that the author thinks is good. It refers to the song that the album is named after. In the article, the author states, "'Let Them Eat War' the title track..." This is incorrect.
As therightclique said, it's not that complicated. :)

1) Bad religion dont have a problem with just the anarchy side of things, Incase you didnt notice. I'm sure its not just what bush is skrewing with thats the problem. Also Let them eat war is a very cool song, but I prefer All there is by about 10 times more. Materialist definatly wasnt the title track of process of belief just because it quickly said it once in the songs lyrics. If you've listened to the electronic press kit that they released on the official site it would be clearly obvious. RARARARARARRA!!! Go Bad Religion rage! If greg goes for president I'll vote for him.

Sorry, but it DOES state that Let Them Eat War is the title track. There can only be one title track on every album. ITS THE ONE WITH THE TITLE OF THE ALBUM IN IT'S NAME. Its not that complicated. It specifically says ("Let Them Eat War," the title track) .. how can a song with a title different than THE title be the title track? The author of this article and his/her editor need to be smacked.

it didnt say that it was the title track. it was saying let them eat war is one, the empire strikes first is another... they just didnt want to state the name of the title track again since they named the cd name earlier on in the article. common journalism practices.

"Let Them Eat War" is not the album's title track.
Otherwise, a good article.
