I think Skyscraper is a very timely BR song. The obvious connection is 9/11, which Bush uses to justify everything he does. I also think Progress and Fertile Crescent are perfect metaphors for Bush. Progress describes his pro-industry/anti-environment policies and Fertil Crescent is an absolutely wonderful metaphor for his misguided crusade in Iraq.

I agree with offsenter. Other than BR, what a sh*tty lineup of bands.
Completely off topic, but have to mention... glad to see the BR Page get an overhaul! Site looks fantastic!

How about "Heaving is Falling." To me this song is especially relevant with such lines as "For thanks to King George... today murder is legal."

i wouldnt be surprised if they put on something like American Jesus, since not only are the lyrics relevant, but it also is one of BR's best songs.

is there any official release date for the album? RollingStone says march, and some other news sources says april or may

Since Bad Religion is in studio, it's probally a new song, either from the record or exclusive to the compilation. But we can't rule out "Kyoto Now!" becasuse it was written because Bush didn't sign the Kyoto Treaty.

"Green Day, NOFX and Alkaline Trio will record new songs for the album. The other groups haven't yet announced whether their tracks will be new cuts, remixes or previously released tunes. The album should be in stores by April or May." - MTV News
Any Idea What Song BR Will Be Putting On There?
