i totaly agree with you. there was nothing wrong with this warped tour. im not an emo kid but got to see nofx, guttermouth, the vandals, bad religion and the bouncing souls. plus non punk bands like yellowcard, ima robot, melee, coheed and cambria, atmosphere give you a diverse show.

I guess i'll have to clarify some things. Yes, the show itself was in pompano beach, which in fact is not miami, but something like 30 minutes north. However, officially it is considered the Miami warped tour, since that is the nearest biggest city, or whatever warped tour politik dictates. As far as the ambient in warped tour, we really gotta stop whining, stop picking on the emo kids, etc. Let kids listen to whatever they want, i went to see bad religion because i've been listening to them since i was like 11, too young to even understand their lyrics. As far as their choice of songs for the day, hey they can't make everyone happy ya know? I've seen some of the set lists for the other warped tour dates, and i must confess they do seem more apetizing than what they played down here, however i was still happy to see the band that has made such a difference in my life. I should also point out, that this was the best warped tour i have been to so far, and i've been going since like 96-97.

Sorry to say but those are some crappy songs compared to what they did when I last saw them. They apparently played mostly new stuff. Whatever happenned to Modern Man, No Control, We're Only Gonna Die and Generator? All of those songs sound great live. Oh well, looks like I didn't miss much, seeing that I live 10 minutes from Pompano Beach. Everyone probably went there for all the emo whine rock bands anyway. Hopefully BR will start headlining.

Grillo:
Bad Religion's set didn't even last 40 minutes according to the original poster, so mis-identifying the location of the show by a greater margin in terms of travel time than the duration the band's entire set lasted seems to qualify as "not anywhere near" to me. More simply put, Pompano Beach isn't Miami. Maybe your sense of understanding is skewed...

Yeah, seriously. I live in Vermont, and the closest concerts are 3 hours away in Massachusetts - sometimes farther.

40 minutes from Miami isn't "anywhere near" it? You must have a skewed distance sense...

Sounds like I missed a great, albeit short, set when I was home sick in bed this weekend. But for point of reference, the Warped Tour wasn't anywhere near Miami. It was in Pompano Beach, FL, about 40 minutes away.
