Please, PLEASE re-issue this! I'd love to get my hands on this beautiful piece of music. This is underrated!

How about re-releasing the album as is AND newer, modernised versions of the tracks on the same CD. I think it'd appeal to more fans that way. Its a "different" album, but its not as bad as everyone makes out. give it a go!

It would be really cool if they released it. I have a copy I made from Mp3s and the cover picture from the old BR page and I think it kicks arse, nine minute synth solos and all... Would love to be able to buy a proper copy. Favourite song is definately - Time and Disregard (The lyrics are awesome).

They'd have to put a big sticker on it in stores explaining that it's not a new BR album and casual listeners shouldn't buy it, or they might alienate some kids who don't know (or care) about the history of it.

Anybody ever heard of the Mars Moles? It's a german band that covered the whole Into the Unknown album and "punked" it up (the LP is called the Mars Moles invite Punk Religion Back Into the Unknown). The songs are pretty good when made punk, so you know that if BR had done it it would've kicked ass.

I think they should just release it for free download off the Epitaph site, or the Bad Religion site. Not that I wouldn't buy it if they released it, but I think their main reason for not re-releasing it is because, according to the Punk-o-Rama DVD, that album basically just about killed Epitaph. If they put it online for free, they wouldnt have to worry about losing money, or fans complaining about how crappy the record may sound. Just an opinion. Online or CD form, I'd love to see an official version released again.

I think it would be cool if the band (or at least Graffin, in his spare time, if he has such a thing) re-recorded all the songs, but "modernized" them and tweaked them a little. I personally like the album, although I agree that the 9-minute synthesizer solos tend to grate on one's nerves after a while. But they DO have some potentially great material on it, like "Million Days" for example. That's a great song, no matter how amuteur of a recording it is.

@therightclique: i downloaded the album once from bad-religion.net and the quality IS great! anyway, i guess they don't have it online any more.
i think it would be a good idea to re-release the album - not only for the fans. i gave my bootleg of the album to a friend who doesn't like br at all and he seemed very surprised - he listened to the album in his car for al long time.
i like itu, too. and especially the keyboard!

Dick, maybe you don't understand something... A.) the versions on the internet are all recordings of vinyls and sound like ass. Epitaph has all the original tapes, so we can finally hear this thing in high fidelity. B.) People like owning albums of their favorite bands. Mp3s just don't cut it for many reasons. I personally don't think the record blows. I've been saying they should re-record it in their current style. I like the melodies and music, but the keyboards and the 9 minute long songs have to change.

I'm sure that most people who would buy it have already heard it in some form, on the internet or elsewhere, so I don't see that it matters too much if they release it. As fo the record blowing, that's a matter of opinion, like any record. Might as well release it and let people make up their own minds on if it's worth owning.

One with discerning ears. That record blows, but I understand why everyone wants to hear it.

Oh, yes, please. What self-respecting BR fan wouldn't buy it?
