Seed Magazine has got an interesting interview with Greg Graffin. He talks a lot about his new book and evolution.
Greg says that he hope his new book will be out in 2005.
"I think I?ll turn this polemic toward an even more popular audience. I mean, Dawkins is one of the best-selling science writers of all time, and if I could even remotely approach that, I would feel honored. I do have one thing going for me: hundreds of thousands of BR fans. I?d like to show them how their worldview might fit into an evolutionary worldview, and I?d like to take those scientists indoctrinated in evolution and show how their views approach religious views."

Hmm...This doesn't really surprise me. Graffin's easily the least accessible member of the band, and seems to have been adopting Mr.Brett's attitude towards the live show. I've seen them 3 times so far this year, and Graffin's performance was half-assed at best. Once the band actually had to start 'Generator' over again becuase Greg wasn't paying attention. I also know that as of this summer they could only play a small handful of TESF songs because Greg wouldn't show up to sound check to work them out live. Take what you will from the articles, but I think we may be witnessing the beginning of the end. |

Very interesting to read that Graffin met with, and was inspired by, Richard Dawkins. I'm a fan of Dawkin's work.
