Martin: I don't believe the election in Afghanistan was fixed, give me some evidence of that. If it had been, surely that would be reported by election controllers.

also badboy: "well probably cause the iraq war has taken all the man power and eyes from afghanistan. at least there is no "government" who enforces those things."
well i guess it?s more because already now, only shortly after what you call "elections", the islamic extremists are almost as powerful as before.
and if you think that this is because the US soldiers are gone, this is ridiculous. you think they?d really give a shit about that? then you probably also believed in the reasoning "we have to battle afghanistan in order to liberate the women" in the first place! then why the hell did nobody care about those suppressed women for over a DECADE and is not caring now that the same shit is happening again???

Grillo: that election was not democratic. the new leader of afghanistan, hamid karsai, was a puppet of the american administration. everybody knew before the election that he would win, that?s why he was invited to the afghanistan future convention here in germany almost a year before the election. he was simply the guy that would do the most for the US in afghanistan (i.e. allowing pipelines to be built), so he was handed the job.
badboy: my country has seen enough war for some lifetimes man. i honestly say i am against any form of retaliation (in the form of killing), be it death penalty or starting a war. if you are really from albania, i think you should be able to relate to that. maybe you?re too young. i simply don?t get why still today, revenge is the first thing on peoples? minds.

got to have a say in this, i think we should not have gone into iraq as a way of retaliation. yeah we should have went after bin laden, but the fact is that we seemed to have forgotten that is light of 'operation iraqi freedom' it's not right to change veiws over who are a threat and who the gov't tells the people are threats.

i cant believe you use the word "overreacting". how can you "overreact" by going after the people who did this? if your family was in that building, would you still say, oh ok, lets talk with osama? be honest, you would want to see that fucker dead.

Afghanistan has currently had its first democratic election ever, you knew about that right? Sure, it's still fucked up outside of the cities, but Rome wasn't built in one day. The Afghans are probably far better of now than before. If they aren't, show me some proof of that.
Still, you haven't told me what Bush should have done after the 9/11 attacks. Even Kerry applauded Bush on his actions after 9/11, and I'd agree, something had to be done, you can't just sit still and watch while you're country is being attacked.

badboy: yeah you?re right, afghanistan was a single terrorist camp. of course. but then why does the civilian body count in that country go ten times over the number in the WTC attacks?

Grillo: i think it was definitely wrong to just bomb a country, that?s correct. are you honestly of the opinion "well... we?ve been attacked... we?ve GOT to bomb somebody RIGHT NOW!"? i can?t believe that.
it was almost the first time the US was attacked on own soil, and they overreacted so terribly it?s not even funny. they should have done a lot more research into that attack and the country where it came from. you can?t first declare a "global war on terrorism" that will be on for 100 years, and then bomb ONE country that already WAS in the middle age - further back into the stone age.
in our time, don?t you think mankind shouldn?t see war as a first option anymore? we should be over that, methinks. we call ourselves civilized and the terrorists evil, because they use terrible violence.
where are we better than them if WAR?s still the first thing that comes to our minds?

"and don?t give me shit about wiping out that muslim taliban leadership and liberating the women: the women are worse off today,"
you obviously dont know shit, its far from perfect how it is now, but its far better for people than it was before the taliban. women are far worse now? prove it. and osama and his followers were / are stationed in afghanistan. you can argue without doubt about how this war was led (cluster bombs etc.), and nobody wants people to get killed, but was that war justified? you bet it was. and i am not even american, but european.
how todays leader were in bed with those enemies back in history, well thats another story that needs to be examined.

sorry grillo, but it was wrong.
retaliation is always wrong, especially if you call yourself a christian (which the definetely NON-secular US always claim they are).
but it?s especially wrong when you bomb the wrong country in revenge, one that harbors only poor farmers in the first place, instead of attacking (diplomatically!) the one where 15 of 18 terrorists came from - saudi arabia.
the only people in afghanistan that MAY have been accountable for retaliation are still at large today, while the rest of the country suffers more than ever.
and don?t give me shit about wiping out that muslim taliban leadership and liberating the women: the women are worse off today, and the taliban were the best friends of america before the attacks - even though they suppressed everybody (because of their partnership in the war on drugs, which was the fictional war before the one on terrorism came up to date).

i didnt like it. it was not very well edited. the images should be cut in time with the music. this was just random. and the intro is a video that has been around on the net for ages.

I didn't like it though, the intro was a nice renewal of Stealth, and some of the footage fitted, not the footage from WTC though. It suggests it was wrong to retaliate against the fuckers that did that.
