Here are some more details about Greg Hetsons band Circle Jerks new live DVD "Show Must Go Off" which was first announced back in May.
Shot on multiple Panasonic DVX 100 cameras, with 24 track digital audio with 5.1 Surround Sound, this episode of "The Show Must Go Off!" makes it easy to see, and hear, why the Circle Jerks are still as pertinent and important to the punk scene more than 20 years after the release of epic albums like Group Sex and Wild in the Streets. The band is just as angry and energetic as they were back then, easily putting to shame the so-called "punk" bands that are half their age on the radio today.
With over 25 songs in the set, the concert footage alone is enough to satisfy new and old fans alike, but we didn't stop there. We added a photo gallery, subtitles and commentary from front man Keith Morris and bassist Zander Schloss. Just when you thought our live DVD series couldn't get any better, a band like The Circle Jerks come along and show you how live shows should be done. Kids are lucky these days.
