"Most people scrambling through shopping malls during this holiday season probably aren't giving much thought to the crisis in Sudan, where genocide and famine have exacted an inhuman toll. Most of the music industry hasn't paid much attention, either, until this impressive new cutting-edge compilation from Waxploitation Records. Its proceeds will go to the United Nations Refugee Agency and UNICEF.
