Anti- Signs Youth Group. Anti- Records announced it finalized a deal with Australia's Youth Group. The indie pop band's American debut, Skeleton Jar is set to arrive in stores May 24.
Epitaph/Anti- president Brett Gurewitz explained his immediate enthusiasm for the Aussies, which quickly led to a contract.
"On the very first listen, Youth Group enchanted me like a new acquaintance that I?d seemingly known my whole life," he said in a statement. "Skeleton Jar is one of those rare generous records that invites you in again and again and never stops giving."

Bad Religion snagged me later in life (about age 20) just because I wasn't as much of a punk when I was younger. And first it was the music I liked. But I sat bored in one of my college classes one day reading the liner notes to NO CONTROL as I listened to it on headphones, and I was like "sweet fucking shit!" ...I've been addicted ever since.
I actually LIKE the fact that they're older. It shows endurance and a committment to their message. |

Brett has signed quite a few unsuccesful acts on Epitaph over the years, but that's the way it goes in the business.
Age should be no concern, although a bit older people will probably understand the meaning behind the lyrics better... |

I was 13 when i strated to listen to BR, I'm 17 now, what kind of fan would i be if i was put off by there ages?

If kids like BR they will eventually find out how old they are. Who cares? You would have to be pretty closed minded to decide to not listen to a band because of their age.

"the right clique" is saying what we all think. But a lot of us Bad Religion fans like to kiss brett's ass. Oh and something else. Do they have to put BR members their age on this site? We need to win young fans from the age of 15. And Their heroes can't be the same age as most of the authority's we hate

how is this related to bad religion? eh, i guess it doesn't matter... the only problem is that epitaph has very few bands with the integrity and credibility that bad religion has. not everything mr brett touches is gold. he's a good guy and all, but there are some serious turds on that label.
