I was at the Minneapolis show. First off, Murphy's Law had car trouble and couldn't make it. Oh well. So Anti-Flag kicked off the show with a very wild set. I certainly enjoyed the 2 lead singer approach they use. Mixes it up quite a bit. They were all gung-ho against the war and Bush. They played "Fuck Police Brutality", but I didn't hear the song "Fuck the idiot street criminals". OK, I don't know all their stuff. They were fun. Oh, they also played "Minor Threat", and Brian Baker played bass on that song. They didn't do too bad on that.

Pennywise wasn't as loud as the other 2. I thought that was all right, as I could actually hear the lyrics quite well. This was my first Pennywise show, so I was very excited and very impressed. They were taking requests (and playing them), and had great attitudes. Big fans of them.

BAD RELIGION:

As usual, started off with "Overture" and "Sinister Rouge".

"Fuck Armageddon" and "Atomic Garden" were not played, otherwise the Winnipeg setlist was pretty close. During "Man with a Mission", when the lyrics should be "?coming to your town today?", Graffin said "coming to Minneapolis today". Jay really got a kick out of that for some reason. Man, you would have thought Greg told the funniest joke in the world.

He made some banter about the difference between St. Paul and Minneapolis, about the Minnesota Wild NHL hockey team.
Overall, great show, I'm glad I heard "The Gray Race" and "Come Join Us". I really like the gray race, so was excited with that was played.

Biggest pops were for Infected, LA is Burning, and 21st Century Digital Boy.


Fantastic show, and cheap beer (Heffenhuizen??) for 2 dollars at the Quest Club. Too bad they can't find another ticket outlet beyond Ticketmaster, those assholes.
