I love american lesion but lets get it straight - i want the new BR album to be a full on fast as hell album a la against the grain, no control or stranger than fiction. If the band can add innovative pieces to the formula (like on Bored and Extremely Dangerous), then great.

I have the same doubt, tommy. It was never really clear if American Lesion was only the name of the album or also the name for Graffin's side project.

Why should BR do something new instead of what they're good at: making punksongs! I also love American Lesion, but also because it is somehow seperate from BR but linked through Greg. And there it is possible for him/them to experiment as much as possible. Sky is the Limit (you could argue about that...). Good Luck to Greg!

I can't wait to hear this new Greg graffin solo album. I also think as Dogbert that Bad Religion should try different things in the new album. I would like to say as well that I love No Substance, which is a different album by the way...I prefer Graffin singing slower songs!!
Bad Religon should make an "MTV Acoustic Album" hahahaha...no t necessarily for mtv, but an acoustic album with all the classics, why not? I heard do what you want and suffer acoustic(like all of you did), is awesome.

No, there is no problem with my keyboard at all, but thanks for asking. I was just stressing the main ideas in my message.

check your keyboard Dogbert, there seems to be a slight problem with the keys that are marked with an arrow (upwards and/or downwards arrow)

I HAVE ASKED BRETT SEVERAL TIMES ON THE BOARD TO EXPERIMENT ALL HE WANTS ON UPCOMING BR RECORDS. TRY SOMETHING AS RADICAL AS AN INTO THE UNKNOWN (I don't necessarily mean the same genre, but something as different from their usual stuff as that), DON'T BE SCARED, DON'T FEAR THE FANS' FLAMING. THIS RECORD COULD ULTIMATELY BECOME THE PERFECT PLACE FOR BRETT TO FINALLY WRITE THE PERFECT POP SONG AND COULD TRIGGER A TWO-MEMBER BAND FOR YEARS TO COME. Like that failed Greg-Greg project of Graffin and Hetson. This could finally establish them as the Lennon-Mc Cartney of the 21st Century. THEY ONLY THING LEFT WOULD BE TO SHOOT THE PERFECT VIDEO, MAKE GREG WEAR A WIG AND WE HAVE A PLATINUM RECORD.

Hi, I was one of the guys who submitted this piece of news and I didn't want to forget to say that I'm just as excited about this as I'm about the next BR record. Brett will be producing this and I'm sure he will be contributing with a song or two as well. THE FACT THAT THEY WON'T HAVE TO COPE WITH THE BURDEN OF BR FANS' EXPECTATIONS (WE CAN BE VERY DEMANDING) CAN ONLY MEAN GOOD THINGS. THEY WILL BE ABLE TO GO EVEN MORE EXPERIMENTAL (not that they didn't try new things on TESF, such as Beyond Electric Dreams, The Quickening or Boot Stamping... all courtesy of Brett, ha-ha, go figure, but you know what I mean) AND TRY THINGS THAT SHORT-MINDED BR HARDCORE FANS WOULDN'T "ALLOW" THEM TO DO, OR WOULD DISAPPROVE OF. NOT ME, MIND YOU, I'M ALL FOR THEM EXPERIMENTING ALL THEY WANT EVEN IN BAD RELIGION.

Extremely excellent news. I really love American Lesion...on some levels more than any Bad Religion album. Can't wait for the new solo. Congrats Greg! You've earned it.
