[Where were you? I was on the steps off to the side, and the sound was absolutely amazing, possibly the best I've ever heard.
Initially, I was up on the 2nd or 3rd floor, then down on the ground floor directly infront of the stage, but the vocals still weren't as crisp and clear as they were the 3 times I saw them at The Thebarton Theatre in Adelaide.
I don't know if it's the poor acoustics of The Palace or the sound mixer decided to jack up the volume levels on the instruments which all but drowned out the vocals on all of the other bands that night. It's almost like they jacked up the levels purposely (like how they normalize the volume of CD's to ridiculous levels to make them louder, but resulting in poorer quality recordings). I probably should've just seen the band perform at Soundwave here in Adelaide! That being said, it was the first time i'd heard many of those songs performed live, so that's the only positive spin I can put on it. So, if anyone from Bad Religion reads this post... please, please, please play in Adelaide next time and I would love to hear "The Answer" performed live. The harmonies and the trademark oozin-aah's in that song would be awesome. 03/16/2012 at 11:01
Apologies for the setlist- after the first song, and the last 5, I have no idea what order these were in. Hopefully someone can help fix it up.
I believe Against the Grain was not played, and they played You Are The Government as appears on a youtube file (maybe the songs were mislabeled). Great setlist anyway! 03/15/2012 at 22:43

And, I have to say, I won't be going to see BR again in Melbourne if they play at The Palace. The audio was horrible. The vocals were completely drowneed out by the instruments (moreso with Strung Out, Street Dogs and The Messingers, but perhaps Greg's voice is just a lot clearer because they still sounded good... not as good as they did at the Thebby in Adelaide, the 3 times i've seen them there, but still pretty damn good). It was a great setlist - some of which i've never heard BR perform live.
I do wonder why "The Answer" never gets played though. And, I have to say, I won't be going to see BR again in Melbourne if they play at The Palace. The audio was horrible. I really hope Bad Religion come back to OZ one more time, and do a proper tour (an hour of Bad Religion is awesome, but I wish it were more). 03/04/2012 at 07:45

Apologies for the setlist- after the first song, and the last 5, I have no idea what order these were in. Hopefully someone can help fix it up.
