Song meaning
A Walk is "a song of resistance against being a part of the system".
Greg Graffin: "It's about someone who is at the end of his wits due to the oppression he feels living in the modern world, and he's going on a psychological walk and forging a new way of thinking for himself. Independent and exempt."
Single
The CD single came with a The Gray Race Sticker and has Cease (album version) as well as Leave Mine To Me and Change Of Ideas (both live versions).
Video
The video was directed by David Bragger (as were Streets Of America and Punk Rock Song). It was the first video from The Gray Race and was first played on 120 Minutes, a television show dedicated to alternative music.
