Brett got the idea for the song while he was visting Iceland in mid-2018 and news had dropped about U.S. President Donald Trump's policy of separting children from thier families at the U.S. border. While away, Brett was disconnected from the media, thus realizing the tragedy these policies were doing to families. The song caputres those feelings with the philosophy of Karl Popper. ^[1]
