Graffin: "The song God’s Love was written after I saw a religious evolutionist give a talk. And I asked how nature can be interpreted from a religious perspective when there’s so much brutality in who lives and who dies. And the answer was simply that we cannot question god’s design, we just have to have faith that he loves us and the suffering in the world is a manifestation of that love somehow. And that didn’t sit well with me and so the result was God’s Love."^[1]
