Jerry Mahoney is artist responsible for several iconic piecies of Bad Religion artwork.
In 1987 he got his B.A. in 'Fine and Studio Arts' from UCLA, after which he designed the cover artwork for the 1988 Suffer album.
Greg Graffin: "The image occured to me and Jerry while they were working as salad-bar hosts at an L.A. restaurant. That image seemed to capture the simultaneous anger, powerless, and defiane of my teenage years, emotions that fueled my songwriting and performances in the early days of the band."[1]
Jerry also made the backdrop painting that can be seen in the middle of booklet of the Tested album. The actual backdrop was used during tours in 1996 and 1997.
