"Do What You Want: The Story of Bad Religion"
Ruland collaborated with the band on the forthcoming autobiography about Bad Religion, currently slated for an August 18th, 2020 release. He used The Bad Religion Page for much information to help "fill the gaps" in the band's story. [2]
While writing the book, Ruland spent time in Europe with the band on the "30 Years of Suffer" tour.[3]
Greg G.: "Jim did such a fantastic job fitting in thousands of hours of interviews into story form, because you have to remember when you’re as old as we are, it’s not just that memories fade. But, people have different recollections of events." [4]
