Punk Rock Songs is a Bad Religion compilation released by Sony/Epic/Dragnet in Europe, Germany, and Japan. It consisted of songs from 1994 to 2000, including some b-sides and live tracks. A DVD followed, featuring the bands music videos from the same period. Even though it was released without the band's consent, the label had every legal right to release it. Jay considers them "official" releases. [1]
The compilation was released in Europe, Germany, and Japan on April 22, 2002 through Sony/Epic/Dragnet. Although it was released after The Process of Belief, no songs from that album are included, as Bad Religion had already moved back to Epitaph. The DVD followed two years later in 2004, only releasing in Germany and Mexico. It is most notorious for featuring this video of "Do What You Want."

Jay: "I do consider PRS 'official', since it is simply a collection of songs we recorded and released on a label we were signed to. I just don't think it's very good and while I can't be 100% certain, the band had nothing to do with any of it. It is important to understand that the band had two recording contracts. One with Atlantic/Warner for North America, and one with Sony/Dragnet for the rest of the world. Punk Rock Songs was released by Sony outside of North America. It was never sanctioned by the band, but that is irrelevant." [2]
