Update 4: According to the tracklisting details that have been posted on Amnesty International's website Bad Religion has recorded Bob Dylan's "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue". Apparently the album is scheduled to be released (both the physical four disc record and digital version) in North America on January 24. The album will be released internationally on January 30.
Update 3: Amnesty International finally posted some more details about the album on their website. The official release date is still unknown, but the album can be pre-ordered starting December 6th.
Update 2: Apparently Jay found out how that Lucinda Williams duet rumor got started. Check it out below. So even the song everyone now thinks BR is doing is incorrect. So what do we know more than we did last June? The title and a release date! Yahey!

Update: We don't know who started this rumor, but it appears that BR is NOT teaming up with Lucinda Williams. A whole lot of other sites are also running this (incorrect) news. Thank God for the intertubes.
Last June Bad Religion recorded a cover song for an upcoming Bob Dylan tribute album 'Chimes of Freedom: Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International'. Not a whole lot was known at that point, but now more details have surfaced.
Bad Religion has covered the song 'Tryin' To Get To Heaven'. The album is expected to be released on November 22. Although several sources mention early next year. Only time and a *real* source will tell.

I remember the days of napster and kazaa. There were some songs with lots of peers to dowload from like "infected', "american jesus" and..."yesterday" I guess some people thought it was a beatles cover. I thought it was too and a friend of mine who only knew "sorrow" downloaded it too and said to me, This doesn't sound very much like the original

@ nropevoll: release dates for most independent records and some top-act records have been shifted to fridays for germany and some other parts of europe about 5 years ago, whereas in the rest of the world they still stand at mondays (sometimes tuesdays). in conclusion, most interesting records nowadays are released 3 or 4 days earlier in germany / europe now than they are in the US. do you really think thats what makes people use torrents?

I find it hilarious that right after Ke$ha (Disc 3), a more reputable act (Kronos Quartet) recorded the same song, as to say "yeah this might suck so here's a better version just in case. We apologize for any inconvenience"

I'd like to point out that Mariachi El Bronx will also do a cover... haha. For those who don't know them, it's the Mariachi band created by members of The Bronx, a hardcore punk band...

Are we sure about the album release date? Digital Spy says it's out next year. I'm sure it is November as Jabberwock didn't correct that part, but I just thought maybe there might have been further mixup somewhere.
