Overture has the same melodic guitar line from the chorus of Sinister Rouge.
In operas, composers wrote an overture as an introduction to the rest of the opera and usually it used musical themes that would later be heard throughout the opera. So it makes a lot of sense that Bad Religion took the music from Sinister Rouge, slowed it down, and called it the "Overture". 10/02/2004 at 05:38
