"We?d party hard with all of our punk pals on Saturday nights, and then drag our grimy, grubby souls into St. Bonaventure Catholic Church on Sunday morning. In biker jackets."
Hot Nasties your a disgrace to punk rock! Your a bunch of fucking hypocrites who sin all week and seek forgiveness on sundays. You don't deserve to say a god damn thing about Bad Religion or its message because evidently their message is completely over your heads Go listen to Chimera, Faith in God, Fuck Armageddon... This Is Hell,1000 More Fools and At the Mercy of Imbeciles and rethink things. And if you don't walk away with anything walk away knowing to never question the sientific method with your mediocre irrational mind
"wishing upon distant stars
Won't improve the hole you're in
Won't absolve your deepest sin
But action is no gift from some covert and lofty god
It's dependant and weighty all the same"

Fundamentalist Christians have to be right: they'd be nothing without their age old dogmatic set of rules regulations and threats. Graffin kicked ass methinks, and self riteous smug christians absolutely hate anyone questioning their faith...the thing they are the most scared to ever do themselves. Nuff said.

no, good call jau. I'm mean, I'm a Christian. But morons like these make me almost ashamed to admit it. Not because my personal beliefs are messed up, but I don't want to be mixed up with these imbecils.

Justin, it shouldnt be disturbing at all. That's what every religious person, depending on their amount of fundamentalism in their beiliefs, will think it all this: a compeition to convert and prove whose "right and whose "wrong, because they know that if they stop denying reality and accept they are wrong, all this time put into their fundamentalist reality is wasted and they can't get that time back.
no offense to the people who don't build a tower around their beiliefs and who actually think rationally aside from whatever they believe.

His Phd is in paleontology. His thesis for his Phd is what was officially zoology. He had a double bachelors in geology and anthropology from UCLA. And I, none of the above...

"The Empire Strikes First, depicted on its cover a feral skeleton in clerical vestments" - really? All I ever saw was a shirt and tie!

The only belief Graffin changed, if anything, is that that not ALL Christians are dipshits.
Hardly a victory to write an article about.

What I find the most disturbing is that this person thinks it is some sort of battle about proving who is right. At the end he says that they should be greatful that Jones was able to "educate" Graffin and persuade him towards the christian way like it is some type of belief contest that the christians have to win.

Isn't it amazing how so many pseudo-christians preach flexibility towards God and their religion, while they are the first who don't have the guts to question themselves and their so called "faith"? It's the most annoying thing ever
