First, we'll start off with another tidbit from the Epitaph Newsletter:
Bad Religion's new album, New Maps of Hell, is finally complete! It'll drop July 10th to our eager ears! The background vocals themselves, will blow you away. They're also going to appear on the entire Warped Tour this summer. New album? Warped Tour? It doesn't get any better.
BR was also mentioned in the LA Weekly as Rock Picks:
?They?re still around?? That?s how many people respond when Bad Religion?s name is brought up. In the punk-rock encyclopedia, Bad Religion?s sound is categorized as somewhere between angry teddy bear and militant, sleep-deprived, poli-sci grad student ? complete with aggro?Kingston Trio harmonizing behind the ferocious socio-authority-fighting-the-man-superio-cultural-warrior anthems. Korn has parted ways with temporary drummer Terry Bozzio. Brooks sat behind the kit for the band's performance last Friday (March 30th) at a Boost Mobile Rock Corps show in Los Angeles.

An article of the Cornell Daily Sun is suggesting Cornellian bands for Slope Day 2007 (in the hopes of skipping classes). Greg Graffin is one of them:
Featuring front man Greg Graffin (who completed his Cornell Ph.D. in 2003, appropriately enough in evolutionary biology), Bad Religion is credited with leading the punk rock revival. Sadly, Mr. Graffin is currently a professor of life science at UCLA where classes don?t cease until June 15. It wouldn?t make sense for him to skip classes in order to help us skip classes ourselves.

Bad Religion Recipe For Hate -By Danny R. Phillips, The Music Man
Post-election, Bad Religion stand arm-in-arm with fugazi as punk rock barometers of social unrest and descent. Plowing songs like "All good soldiers," "Man with a mission" and the hit, "American Jesus" have a freshness still relevant ten years after being put to tape.
Throughout the bands' long history, Bad Religion have released one thought provoking album after another; in the process, raising awareness to the worlds' ills, helping define and partially creating what the music world knows as California Punk Rock.
If this album were released today, recipe for hate would stand alone as the most well constructed, loudest anti-Bush, anti-war recordings out there. It is a destroyer floating upon a vast sea of protesters and dissidents.
Greg Graffin and his crew are captains, originators of their craft. Their ability to turn a phrase such as, "I don't need to be a global citizen 'cause I was blessed by nationality," seems to foreshadow the President's growing arrogance a decade before the fact.
Mr. Brett's driving guitar, a rock steady backbeat, and Bad Religion's talent for clutching the English language by the balls shows to all that care to listen that Bad Religion are the giants of thinking man's punk rock. They are truly masters of the punk rock genre and recipe for hate is clearly their masterpiece.

Dogbert: I offered information that apparently no one knew about. I then apologized that I didn't provide a link in the first place. I then stated that there were videos of the show- however, they were in bad quality and it lacked the new song. I don't know what you want from me, but apparently I did something to offend you. All I did was provide some news that a new song played during their concert two days ago.
Oh well, it's not as if I am catering solely to you. But hey man, good luck with those ringtones. |

Sorry, I got it off the Wikipedia "New Maps of Hell" site.
I didn't attend, but I am sure someone here did. There are youtube videos of the show, but no luck finding the video of the new song; plus the quality is crap. |
