Brian talks about the new album in an interview with a website in Argentina.
"The new album is less 'Fuck Bush' and more 'We must try to make a better and different world'. [...] The new stuff is faster, brilliant and less depressive," says Brian Baker.

It would be very appreciated if someone could translate (the main points of) the interview for us non-Spanish speakers.

Prodigal Son, that's not a source. That's just BR Tribute stating something. (Of course, they're reliable, but that's not the point.) The source is that what Graffwitz posted.

For anyone who wants to use the link below, ignore the parenthesis of course and I had to put a space between "net" and "/" because the site said that it was "too long of a word" so if you copy and paste it make sure to delete that space and the link should work.

Heroes & Martyrs sounds like a great song and unlike anything off the last couple of albums. Or maybe that's due to the poor quality. In that case, maybe br should distort their music a bit more.

It reminds me of an Alkaline Trio song called Dethbed for some reason, even though it doesn't sound similiar.
I'm trying my best to work out the chorus. I can sorta make out "Heroes, and martyrs, cleanse the killers", but due to the horrible quality I think I miay be really wrong. Also, I now have the power of suggestion which ain't helping. I've listened to this at least 10 times now and it's on my mp3 player despite being a crap quality recording, lol. |

Don't thank me, all I did was find the thing after refreshing youtube, myspace and this site for the last 3 days. Thank BR for writing such awesome songs, thebrpage for allowing as to have a place to post things like this, and thank that dude for recording/uploading.
all it really does is prove that the new album DOES actually exist and isn't a dream. I know exactly what you mean. Up until now I've been thinking "There's no way there is a new album coming out. That just won't happen. It's too good a thing to happen", lol. |

awesome. thanks dude. you can hear just enough melody for it to not be completely worthless. i know i'll watch this video again after the album comes out and it'll all make sense, but without a reference point, all it really does is prove that the new album DOES actually exist and isn't a dream.

br says this kind of stuff for every release. i remember hearing right before no substance and new america that they were so excited at how great the material was. every album they hype it up about how its so different and more inspired than the last. im expecting brilliance now.
