he mentioned that dearly beloved is def. a brett song b/c of the line set phasers to stun...
i thought this was clearly a greg song until that line...but then i heard greg say in some interview, maybe on youtube, maybe i read it, that they co write now and that there is no longer a greg or brett song..all and all, this album seems dominated by brett, who is good, but i am disappointed by this as ive always been a bigger fan of gregs songs

Either way, I like the design of the NMOH CD, but I feel like its too similar to their very first CD design, which almost makes me feel like theyve circled around and reached their starting point... will they loop around once more, or might Bad Religion decide to call it quits??
I'm getting nervous just thinking about the idea of thinking about imaging the prospect of the possibility of the thought of not having BR around...
Oh god... im queazy

Also the 21st century digital boy single has a red crossbuster, exactly the same as the new maps one except the background is not coloured white but is just the disc surface.

Hey ikillkenny, you said in the podcast that you didnt recall a bad religion album before having a crossbuster on the actual disc.. did you forget about All Ages, or were you just not including it because it wasn't a new album?

I got there first! ;)
Good podcast ikillkenny! Although, The Guardian giving an album 2/5 is actually pretty good, they're notoriously harsh.

EATYOURDOG: Check out the "Cold As The Clay" news article a few pages back (and then look in the comments section). The song is part of the Unmastered album download.
And thanks for the tips about reducing noise. I think I've gotten rid of a lot of it from a hardware standpoint (I've learned it helps to speak up and be close to the microphone). I'll have to take a look at some software solutions as well.

EatYourDog: Here's the mp3 -- http://www.megaupload.com/?d=LKZA8I4T
I've also uploaded the whole unmastered album, the link is within the "Cold as The Clay" news article, a few articles down on the news page.

I know This is kinda random but is it just me or dose the beginnings of "fields Of mars" sound alot like the beginning of "Waiting for the fire"?
Ohh and one of the singles for 21 Century digital boy has the same cd as Nmoh. There's also a vinyl of it. And All ages also had a crossbuster on the cd.
OHh and you'r P.S.A was highly offensive.
And If you want to remove the hum/hiss and you use audacity there a grate noise remover in the effects bar. And place as your mic and mixer at a distance from your computer Because computer can make alot of interference with audio equipment.
Grate episode.As usual.

Great episode, but mention of Halo gets you minus points.
But still, good episode.

Hey sorry for the buzzing in this episode. I hadn't worked out all of the kinks in my new mixer, so it can get a little annoying. I think I have it at least under control for next time.
