If BR will tour in Germany, I expect they will at least give one gig in the Netherlands (and I hope it will be in the Paradiso or Melkweg in Amsterdam)...

First tour with Brian Baker. Full show (almost). Featuring No Control with Jay Bentley and Pessimistic Lines with some fanboy on lead vocals and a splendid Beastie Boys cover. Less than stellar sound quality.

OMG that would be great!
What about festivals (like rock im park or rock am ring)? Do you want to play some of them too? I have to admit I`m not a festival fan though...just curious...
So, the way I see it I`ll fly to berlin....I think I can`t take the risk that you might won`t come to any of the german speaking countries again this summer....
Thanks for answering our questions.

i know what was intended , but i'm not sure what will be the result. i know that epitaph had ideas of releasing an extended cd/dvd of nmoh, with the myspace show, videos from the record, graffin acoustic stuff, etc., etc.. i can't be 100% that it will ever see the light of day, but thats what i know.

Yo Jay, do you know anything about the acoustic recordings Graffin, Brett and Joe were working on?
If so, can you give us some info about it?
Was it just private stuff, or is it stuff which might see release?
Thanks. :)

isnt it funny that steve festa's always complaining about bad religion touring, yet still listens to them? for years, i've heard that he hates bad religion, but still continues to post on this site, offer his opinion, and whine. i just don't get it. if you hate them that much, why invest your time hating them? just thought i'd point that out. i'm sure im not the only one who notices.

I totally see that point, but a "if I work something out for every single BR fanboy, Jay will kick my ass" would have been perfectly fine with me.
His "the world revolves around me" attitude (or facade) just made me feel a little bit uncomfortable, so to say. I guess being an asshole from time to time is a main requirement for a tour manager.
And considering the tragedy that happened to the metal band Pantera a couple of years ago (an ex-Marine walking in with a gun and killing several people onstage during the show), it makes total sense to be careful and to demand a certain amount of discipline from the crew. Point taken.
Anyway, hope to see you at one of the forthcoming german shows, and if possible, soundchecks...

haha... no, jens is our booking agent, and he has been our t.m., and sometimes he just travels with us... but you have to be fair, how many people do you think come to him at every show to get in? and if i ever caught him selling or handing out passes or tickets i would fire him, just as i would (and have) any other crew member. there has to be some measure of accountability, and while he may not be the easiest person to communicate with, it's not really in his job description.
and su, we usually check around 4pm. don't know what the venue scenario is yet, but usually if you just walk right in, no one will stop you.

It is impeccable indeed...
Is Jens Geiger still (or again) the BR tour manager? I had the "pleasure" to meet him at their hotel in Cologne back in 1996 when they played at the Luxor on their Gray Race club/pub tour. It was a sold out show and I didn't have a ticket so I tried to work something out with Mr. Geiger. Let's put it this way, he was less than helpful.
I only managed to sneak into the club with the help of a female german longtime friend of the band (especially Bobby) who I became acquainted with at that hotel. She handed me Schayer's backstage pass only minutes before the show. Great gig, especially during the barrier breakdown...
So, once again, a big middle finger response to Mr. Geiger.

That's gonna be so awesome, Mr A, I'm looking forward to the Coesfeld show. If possible, could you upload a lossless version, too?
I do find it strange they're playing so few shows in Germany. Wonder if they're going to announce more dates. Would've thought they'd have at least one date in the south.

"Karl", if you can't afford to save 30 bucks during 6 months for a BR show, GET A REAL JOB - or go away. Ever heared of inflation and taxes?
I hope they'll play a show in southwest Germany; Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Mannheim or Karlsruhe. Or even better, Heidelberg: I'd buy them a beer. Or two.
Oh, and I will rip the Coesfeld show from 1994 in the next couple of days/weeks.

So bands like U2 or RHCP, Metallica, etc etc charge 100 euros or more for a ticket that gets you a half-mile from the stagefront.
20 or 30 euros for BR is worth every penny. If you can't afford the prices GET A FUCKING JOB!!!

In Germany, the prices for punk concerts vary from 3 EUR to 20 EUR (for bands that are REALLY popular!). Just so you know the range. I won't go to this one. And I hope they retire, but at least they should end it with dignity.

stop bitchin about the fuckin prices already. prices go up every damn year for everything. if you don't have the money don't go. if you do, buy the ticket and try to have good time. you can complain when they retire. which will happen because fans are always bitchin about the ticket prices. deal with it!!

for 32 euro i want at least to have a real say at the playlist! seriously, there was some shameless rip off at some br shows.
at a show in essen during tpob tour a TEST T-Shirt was sold for 25 euros, i paid a little more for the ticket. not to mention the copied br shirts that were sold right after the concert in front of the venue for 5 euros were very popular...

We need an updated version of Along the Way. For some reason it seems to me any concert footage in Germany is way more exciting. Live at the Palladium didn't quite capture the thrill of seeing them live like Along the Way did. This'd be a great opportunity to have a rawer dvd of newer stuff.

YES, Hamburg! Jay, I love you.
Pity it's not during my holidays, though.
