Jay: "as many of you know, we're doing a shitload of shows in so cal (working around greg's teaching schedule) coming up next month. we're planning on doing shows that will be centered around songs from specific eras. basically, we are settling into 4 different themes.
a.) Early years... 'How Could Hell', etc
b.) Classic... 'Suffer', 'No Control', 'Against The Grain'
c.) 90s... 'Generator', 'Recipe', 'Stranger Than Fiction', 'The Gray Race', etc..
d.) Modern... 'Process Of Belief', 'Empire' and 'New Maps'...
I know all the shows aren't posted yet, but the way it will work is; the first show in any given city will be (a), the 2nd (b) and so on... when we go to the next city, the first show there will be (a)...
of course, we will have a core of songs that we will draw from every night, standards like 'Suffer' and 'American Jesus', 'Infected' and 'Sorrow', regardless of the nights theme.

I emailed jay asking about NS/TNA, and also if Brett was gonna be playing at all this tour.
----------------- tom, i knew that "90's" would be the hardest to work out because it would encompass 6 albums. i wanted to make sure we got something from every album, those two will have to be the ones that are the least represented, with one or possibly two songs from either. i guess it just didn't seem like a strong enough proposition to have "the atlantic / warner years". brett will be playing most of the shows in hollywood, maybe some shows in anaheim, not sure about san diego or vegas... -jay- |

We are three Bad Religion fans from Hungary who will happen to be at the BR show in Las Vegas on the 28th of March. We have already purchased our tickets too. Since you play Hungary so rarely, it will be a really exceptional event for us. I know the briggs for sure are playing with em.. Ive contacted my ... hob connect, he isnt high up but.. we shall see. He says HOB knows who is playing as of now but will tell anyone who calls that they dont. Ill get back to you asap matt, hey btw wanna hook up and have a toss? I dont normally drink but it would be awesome to finally meet.

1.) if we play 3 shows (a,b,c) and leave, when we come back the theme is "d".

daniel08893e is right, the shows will roll over. if we play 3 shows in san diego, they will be a,b,c and then we will go off to the next venue. when we come back to san diego, the first show will be d. if there is another show in san diego after that, it will be a, and so on. the only city with less than 4 dates total is las vegas, with 2.

Course I have to throw my cents in, I read this on brs myspace before it was posted here and still dont understand it. Most cities only have 2 dates, with the exception of LA.. which is still not 4 dates in a row. So jays formula cant apply as he suggests...Im thinking the 29th will be A 1st will be B 2nd C 4th and 5th special mix no clue how you can do 4 setlists in 2 or 3 days.. soo lemme know that haha.

I would like a live album or DVD that is just from 1 single concert night, the whole night including all the banter and everything, unlike Live at the Palladium which the most talk there was between songs was that mic swap before Fuck Armageddon.
Hopefully these get recorded and released online like Hob Orlando 04.03.2002 did(anyone know what that was recorded using? In No Control you can hear an Internet Explorer noise and a Windows alert sound. |

I guess NOBODY wants a "Tested Part II", the concept of that live album as well as the production was simply not good (apart form the liner notes).
I don't like the production of "Live At The Palladium" that much either, unfortunately. Where are the guitars...? What I'd like to hear would be more in the vein of the audio tracks of the vintage "Big Bang" and "Along The Way" live videos or some radio broadcast bootleg - Amsterdam '92 or the D?sseldorf show from a couple of years ago come to mind. Not too polished but still very listenable. |

Damn, I should have tried to get into Vegas a day earlier to go to the show on the 28th. Oh well, I'll still be going to one of the shows and I plan on sneaking in my not-so-great recorder in my shoe. I took it through the metal detector at work and it didn't trip it, so hopefully I won't have any problems.
