Hey, i'll buy the Deluxe Edition, no matter the cost. Hell, I bought the Japanese import of NMoH just for the 2 acoustic tracks.
To hear Greg and the rest of BR play more tracks acoustically would be awesome.
Having just seen them play live here in OZ back in Nov last year (finally)... I love these guys more than ever. I'd give anything to see Graffin perform some of his solo stuff or to see BR play some tracks acoustically.
Can't wait for the Deluxe Edition... keep us posted please!
And while on the subject of DVD's... will BR ever release one of all their clips during their Sony years? There was one released in Germany (which I bought), but the quality is like a poor VHS transfer.
Oh, and BR... please, please, please tour Australia at least one more time!

OMG! :drools at daniel's comment:
I think the band should record some of these shows themselves and they could include them in the NMoH Deluxe edition (CD+DVD). By the way, I'm curious daniel, do the three guitarists take part in the acoustic songs or it's just Greg+Brett alone (drools at the very thought of it)? DON'T PRAY ON ME! DON'T PRAY ON ME! We want that one Jay!

we don't even know, definitively, what's going to be on the deluxe edition and people are already questioning the motives behind this move by Epitaph. It never ceases to amaze me how this always brings out the cynics.

Yeah, I'm in a band myself, and I would never release a deluxe edition of a CD about a year after it's been released. I mean, I love Bad Religion, but this is just unnecessary. But we'll see. If they can manage to make this worth my money, then kudos to them.

I do not mind at all supporting artists of bands I really like by buying their cds. I own pretty much every BR cd(Missing 80-85(or the HCHBAW remaster) and The Gray Race, both of which I am buying soon. I could easilly get it for free, but I chose to buy it all. If a deluxe edition comes out, hell yeah, I'll probably buy it.
I would love for it to be some sort of a boxset, but whatever.

1.) Import Version for the bonus tracks
2.) Regular version
3.) Vinyl version (I almost bought it but managed to get it free via street team thingie)
4.) almost bought the poster too but also got it free via street team thingie.
5.) Fuck, I would buy it on cassette tape too if I could, just to see how the analog warmth would make it sound.
Don't be so dubious to this deluxe edition; I'm glad they are trying new things (they considered the double album at some point, as well as one regular and the other acoustic thing), in addition to releasing new music.
Honestly, this deluxe edition sounds like a good deal for those who couldn't or didn't buy the import version. Personally, I wouldn't mind a bit more packaging for such a milestone album :D

Concerning a deluxe edition, I'm sorry, but you can argue the punk "omg capitalism sux" argument all you want, but after what BR went through in getting us the live at the palladium (when all involved could've easily said fuck it), I trust them to make it worth our while. I mean, what if this was your band?
And I dunno about you, but I find it refreshing that they are considering doing something with the atlantic albums, but can't do much with them due to contracts and legal crap. I imagine this will change as BR gets more fans, more support, and as Epitaph (one of the many indies labels that are prevailing in a time of the big 5's blundering music buisness) get's more prospects, sales, and support as well.
Anyways, assuming that some fans don't want this is hilarious; I'm one of many who bought all of the following:

Watcho- I think they would release such a thing because the fans ask for it, and they know people want it..whether its a physical good (being the Album) or a download. I bet Jay receives myspace messages everyday asking about the double album, accustic stuff that they heard via rumors on the net and more live dvd stuff... I don't think it's "for the money" or "for the sales" ALTHOUGH!!! Brett does run a business... and I'm sure market research goes into an upcoming release before it gets the approval of the band/ Epitaph (business research of course being normal practice). Also, Bad Religion can't do anything about the Atlantic stuff Jay has said it many times they do not own the recordings for those records, thus Bad Religion (or Epitaph) much like MC Hammer..can't touch this.

Serious question: On what basis does BR believe that NMoH requires a deluxe reissue? Are they hoping this will increase its circulation and exposure amongst newbies, are they hoping to get some solid sales from people who only downloaded it before, or are they making the fans buy it again to give Epi a much-needed financial boost? There's always a market for supplemental material, I'm just curious as to why they'd attach it to an album that just came out months ago instead of releasing it standalone or reissueing a more historic album (RFH, STF). I'm not calling them greedy sellouts or anything, just curious about this particular decision.

Hey guys :D
Well, don't I feel silly. I thought the site was down/dead for a while due to past ddos's and the looming site re-design, but here it is, giving me wonderful news of an extended NMOH comp :O.
In any case, I will buy whatever they release. NMOH is still blowing my mind.

Themed show .mp3s, anyone?
I know Brett, Graffin and Barresi were in the studio a few months back recording stuff (After NMoH was released).
Hopefully we might see some NMoH demos too! :D

Freaking awesome! Who's going to the San Diego shows? I am flying out there from Baltimore with a friend of mine just for the weekend because I had to use up frequent flyer trips from work that were about to expire and I didn't want to miss the theme shows! These are gonna be the best BR concerts ever - we're going to both the March 8 and 9 shows.

If its got all of the Myspace show, some sort of unreleased Graffin acoustic stuff, and some 'behind the scenes' sort of meterial(like the NMoH Webisode or whatever, but longer), I'll buy it for sure. Even if it doesn't, I'll probably end up buying it.
