"the hammer"
a friend of ours, adam carolla, has written, produced and stars in a new movie called "the hammer", and has put the song infected in the soundtrack (which is fantastic by the way! the movie and the soundtrack...).
the cool thing is he is just using word of mouth and a grass roots advertising campaign for the movie. greg and i were recently on his morning radio show, which you can podcast, and thought we should be part of the campaign. i saw the movie last week and had a great time, so i give it my thumbs up...

Well seeing how NMoH deluxe is supposedly going to include new acoustic tracks that are supposed to appear on the next album, I don't think they are quitting yet.

yes that is comforting to hear. i can totally see them putting out another three albums or so. the cool thing is the acoustic stuff, so we may be seeing some new musical styles on upcoming albums. fantastic!

At one of the latest shows, Brooks and Jay made a comment on how there will soon be a thene "E" setlist. I told them I hope so and that we sure expect it. That was comforting to hear.

at one of the cold as the clay shows in july 2007 at the troubadour, you can easily spot graffin in the upstairs backstage group talking with another women in a romantic looking way.
but yes i do agree...this is scaring me too. acoustic songs come at the end of a career. themed setlists...i think that's more variety but i remember reading a few years ago that jay mentioned that towards the end of their career, they wanted to do shows where each night is dedicated to an album. there's also the holy trinity of br albums, and nmoh just completed it. if that was their last album, damn, i want more, but it's a great album to go out on. |

ya i heard the same thing. the girl brought it up. sneaking it in there. all this engagment talk and themed set list touring gets me worried. also the release of acoustic songs. i hope they dont quit. Pennywise, now they need to stop. have you heard their last 3 albums? pure shit. Learn to sing and fix that slurring. |
