Update (12/19/13): Check out the video of last night's broadcast:
Bad Religion will be on Conan on Wednesday December 18, most likely promoting the Christmas Songs album. According to our records they performed on Conan at least in 1993, 2002 and 2007. Here's New Dark Ages from the 2007 performance:

Because walking left a few steps to go to the jacket aisle is SOOO much harder and troublesome than walking right a few steps to go to the Fruit of the Loom undershirt aisle.
And the expense! I bet he had to put it on layaway. What was he thinking?
You should teach Bad Religion how to be punk, since you're so DIY. Right after you hump a wet toaster.

As much as I love Hetson, I'm really digging Dimkich's stage presence. Reminds me of Brett's sloppy guitar playing.

Does it really matter? The band has a proven track record of not really giving a fuck how they dress.
.[/quote]I did see Jay in an Easter Bunny costume, but there was a point to that. Going to the trouble and expense of obtaining leather jackets is contradictory to not caring.
Maybe it was an inside joke that I wasn't aware of?
I discovered Bad Religion by pure accident, and think they are the best band around, but had I been flipping channels one day, and saw a band on late night TV with greaser costumes, I would have never stopped to listen. Luckily they were wearing T-shirts the first time I saw them on TV, and I thought, "what the heck?, normal people in a band on TV? This is pretty cool!!!"

Just a point of clarification...
I'm sure BR appeared on Conan at least 1993, 1994 (maybe early 1995--21st century), 1996 (a walk), 2002, 2007...
