...So many were late for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs because Bad Religion wouldn't let them leave. Delayed some by the bouncy kid-pop-punk of New Found Glory, Bad Religion were the masters returning to teach the young'uns, many of whom weren't even born when BR was flattening people back in L.A.'s early '80s hard core scene.

It was typical stuff from BR -- tongue-in-cheekiness mixed with fist-pumping anthems. The band can squeeze more songs into a set than anyone since the Ramones. In 45 minutes, the guys peppered the crowd with three songs from the new record "The Empire Strikes First," along with "Generator," "21st Century (Digital Boy)," "Do What You Want," "American Jesus," "Man with a Mission," "Infected," "Sorrow," "Kyoto Now," and "(Expletive) Armageddon." Never confuse BR with a band that won't give fans their money's worth.

I'm pretty sure they would have more people going to their shows if they changed the set more often. I know people who love Bad Religion who just don't care about goint to their gigs coz they don't want to see the same songs they saw over the past years.
