no stubs flyers or any shots of anything?
common aussies!!!
lol
They tore my ticket in half (and not very neatly). Security was insane too... padded down and metal detectors. First gig i've ever been to that's had that.
I do have scans of my tickets from 1997 and 2007. I'll scan the 2009 one if you really want it!
I really don't get why anyone would want to hold up their mobile phone or camera up above the crowd and take pics/record the show. The quality would be crud and you'd barely see/hear anything, plus it'd ruin the experience of going there to see the greatest band in the world perform!
If I saw the guys wander about The Thebby like they did in 1997 I definitely would've taken a few pics, and hopefully get a photo taken with them.

but I was half expecting Greg (Graffin) to come back out on stage and do a song with NOFX (didn't he do backup vocals for some of the S&M Airlines tracks?).
Yeah, Go Your Own Way
Cheers for that... I thought he did more than just that one track. Hmmm.
They missed out on a golden opportunity to play a kick-ass cover on stage together then. Pity... it would've made an awesome show even awesomer (if that's even a word?).

They played No Direction?! Awesome!
yea, so this one guy says... I dunno, seems a bit off considering it's so standard set otherwise. Can anyone confirm No Direction? Intrepid?
Nope, pretty sure they didn't play No Direction. At least not here in Adelaide.
BR came on first and NOFX followed, and the guys from Bad Religion were standing around. Not sure what the hell Brian Baker was doing dressed in some weird white outfit, but I was half expecting Greg (Graffin) to come back out on stage and do a song with NOFX (didn't he do backup vocals for some of the S&M Airlines tracks?).
Still a great show, and they sounded better than ever (Bad Religion, that is).

yeah, we played it. i was talking to someone in the front row before the show who wanted to hear it... i didn't think everyone knew it. i started the bassline somewhere in the set and graffin jumped in and started singing... next thing you know... i didn't know it was that easy to get songs on the list! haha

it would soo rock, still not sure why they didnt play the last half of the generator album much or at all live.
